上周，GIMP 开发团队发布了酝酿已久的 2.4.0。仅仅在一周之后，其更新版 2.4.1 就出现在了 FTP 中。GIMP 2.4.1 是一个 bug 修订版本，主要对一些突出的问题进行了修复。同时，也更新了一些翻译。
