Xfce 面板插件推荐

最近我将自己所用的 Linux 桌面环境从 GNOME 完全转到了 Xfce。Xfce 给我的感觉不仅仅是轻量级，而且相对来说，也比较全面和完整。在转换的过程中，通过 Xfce 丰富的面板插件资源，使我顺利地找到了一些先前在 GNOME 下所用程序的合适替代。

  • Clipman Clipman 剪贴板管理器，它允许你重复使用剪贴板的内容，并可以设定保存的记录条目数，唯一的缺憾是没有呼出快捷键。由于 Glipper 从 1.0 开始仅支持 GNOME，所以我拿 Clipman 来取代它。
  • Time Out Time Out 如果你长时间坐在电脑跟前，有一个提醒你休息的软件是很有帮助的。之前，我使用 Workrave 来定时提醒我休息。现在，在 Time Out 的帮助下，我同样能够按时休息。Time Out 支持设置休息的时间间隔，在时间到达时通过锁定屏幕来达到强制休息的目的。
  • Mailwatch Mail Watcher 一个邮件通知插件，支持 POP3、IMAP、Gmail、多帐号。可以用来替代 CheckGmail，不过缺少后者的邮件内容预览及交互操作命令功能。
  • Notes notes 桌面即时贴，方便随时记录。支持设置字体，窗口状态。可用来替换 Tomboy、Xpad 等软件。
  • Battery Battery 电池用量监视插件，使用本本的朋友不可错过。

    这个 Notes 偶是一直用, 后来放弃了, 升级的时候文件格式变化.

    注意一下 Notes 保存的地址, 截止到现在, Notes 是按照文本文件存放. 地址偶是忘了, 自己找到要注意备份. 它的删除可不是可逆的.

    现在那里有下载到。以前Livid推荐的好像就是这套，我试过很不错的。可是他的服务器上现在没有了。

    xfce桌面的好处，不光如此。自从接触ubuntu始，就是xfce桌面。xfce不只是简单，而且更易于控制管理。在gnome下，像游戏软件跟gnome结合太紧，如果要卸载游戏软件需要卸载很多gnome桌面包，这是我不太喜欢的。

    @biowee，根本没这回事，ubuntu的那几个meta包是假的，删掉也没关系。

    xfce是桌面环境，而fluxbox是窗口管理器，定位不同

    @Toy 我在APT里查找了一下，有个包里有Luxi san mono serif。安装之后也很漂亮。但是仔细比较了一下和你的字体还是稍稍有一些不同。或许你可以把字体方到服务器上，或者像box.net这样的地方方便需要的人下载。你看如何？

    另外我觉得Mailwatch里窗口的主题也很漂亮。 噢顺便问一下，现在这里已经不在以前我们一起住的dreamhost上了吗？

    以前也挺喜欢xfce的，但东西还是有点少，另外据说有人评测说其性能比GNOME好不了多少（还没有去验证)

    没深入用过xfce，不过我觉得xfce看起来要比gnome漂亮。

    刚用Arch的时候是用xfce4的，后来换了很多，有icewm，openbox，gnome，KDE，KDEMod，现在又用回了xfce4.速度，方便和漂亮比较均衡吧
