Ubuntu Lucid Alpha 2 发布

Ubuntu 开发团队在今天发布了 Ubuntu Lucid（即 Ubuntu 10.04）的第二个 Alpha 测试版，该版本主要包含下列改进：

  • Linux kernel 2.6.32
  • 最新的 GNOME 桌面环境
  • KDE SC 4.4 RC 1
  • 集成了 Plymouth
  • 完全移除了 Hal
  • 将 likewise-open 升级到了 5.4
  • 改进了对 nVidia 私有驱动的支持
  • Ubuntu Enterprise Cloud (UEC) 得到了增强

    继续等待三个月。。。准备好几台机都上LTS，只要能装上正常使用，至少使用2年以上。 本本除外，本本永远追新潮版。

    没有了hal有其他的东西，因为用了很多新技术 不是只有ubuntu一家这么做，Fedora也一样的 arch也一样

    补充一句，这里和oschina的差距好大啊 为什么这里加载网页的速度这么慢啊 oschina好快啊，我用移动，联通，电信都试过了 加载速度都很快，基本是瞬间完成（任何网络下） 但这里好卡，加载明显很迟钝，而且在回帖的时候更加明显 但是貌似10月份的时候，有所改善

    没有了 HAL，U 盘怎么挂载呢？是不是意味着 Xorg 已经 1.8 了呢，不然鼠标键盘问题又得靠 xorg.conf 了吧……

    这次ubuntu可真alpha 删内核，杀grub，硬盘uuid错 这个lts看来需要long time to debug

    是 DeviceKit 取代 HAL，不過 DeviceKit 最終會整合到 udev 和 udev 相關的一些庫中..

    hal的权限还没弄清楚，就要撤掉了，现在我还是手动挂载u盘，看不懂wiki，55555

    这是众所皆知的老Bug了　我写下来希望有人帮忙回报　好在10.04时解决

    /etc/fonts/conf.avail/69-language-selector-zh-cn.conf /etc/fonts/conf.avail/69-language-selector-zh-hk.conf /etc/fonts/conf.avail/69-language-selector-zh-mo.conf /etc/fonts/conf.avail/69-language-selector-zh-sg.conf /etc/fonts/conf.avail/69-language-selector-zh-tw.conf

    分别对应各中文语系　这些档案是用来指定serif（衬线字）、sans（无衬线字）、monospace（等宽字）采用哪个字型 排在第一位的即采用的字型　若系统里没装此字型则采用第二位　依此类推

    假如第一位是无中文字体的字型　像是Bitstream Vera、DejaVu 则同时采用第一位与接下来有中文字体的字型　分别负责英文字与中文字

    然而若如上述　有采用无中文字体的字型的话　「Flash动画」及「应用程式>游戏>数字拼图」等里面的中文字会变成方框 若采用了点阵字型WenQuanYi Bitmap Song　则是会变成空白

    目前较佳的解法为　在终端机中输入 sudo gedit /etc/fonts/conf.avail/69-language-selector-zh-XX.conf　（XX请换为当地语系） 删除档案里的

    WenQuanYi Bitmap Song Bitstream Vera Serif DejaVu Serif

    Bitstream Vera Sans DejaVu Sans WenQuanYi Bitmap Song

    Bitstream Vera Sans Mono DejaVu Sans Mono WenQuanYi Bitmap Song

    然后重新登入

    顺便一提 如果觉得monospace采用WenQuanYi Zen Hei　终端机里的英文字边会重叠　很难看的话 也可以在修改时　改为WenQuanYi Zen Hei Mono　就不会字边重叠了

    但是 WenQuanYi Zen Hei 在9~12级字是采用内嵌的点阵字　会比较清晰 WenQuanYi Zen Hei Mono 则否

    alpha 2的盤子似乎有點問題，installer在點了最后一步安裝的時候就自動退出了，就算更新了installer再安裝也是徒勞。amd64的

    原来用 Fedora LiveCD 安装时会出现类似问题，但是后来发现只要自己不没事找事把其他语言删了，就显示正常……似乎是 Flash 默认指定的字体问题……
