Ubuntu 9.04 发布计划公布

虽然 Ubuntu 8.10 刚从上周推出不久，但 Ubuntu 项目团队已经要开始下一个版本 9.04 的开发工作了。Ubuntu 9.04 开发代号为 Jaunty Jackalope，其发布计划已于近日公布。关注 Ubuntu 进展的朋友不妨一起来看看。

Ubuntu 9.04 发布时间

Ubuntu 9.04 预计发布 6 个 Alpha 版、1 个 Beta 版和 RC 版。最终版本定于 2009 年 4 月 23 日发布，其余各版本发布时间如下：

  • Alpha 1 - 2008 年 11 月 20 日
  • Alpha 2 - 2008 年 12 月 18 日
  • Alpha 3 - 2009 年 1 月 15 日
  • Alpha 4 - 2009 年 2 月 5 日
  • Alpha 5 - 2009 年 2 月 26 日
  • Alpha 6 - 2009 年 3 月 12 日
  • Beta - 2009 年 3 月 26 日
  • RC - 2009 年 4 月 16 日

Ubuntu 9.04 特性计划

在特性方面，Ubuntu 9.04 计划减少系统引导时间；模糊桌面工具与 Web 服务的界限，从而更好的与 Web 相整合；Ubuntu 也打算迁移到 Bazaar，使开发者更易于维护包。

    估计还是小不了，还是重量级的窗口管理器，我就纳闷为什么没有人使用Enlightenment这个窗口管理器呢？

    ubuntu 8.10 很好， 8.04 差些。希望9.04更好。
