openSUSE 11.2 正式发布

openSUSE 开发团队已正式发布 openSUSE 11.2 版本。openSUSE 11.2 包含新版本的 GNOME、KDE、OpenOffice.org、Firefox、Linux kernel、以及许多其他更新和改进。

openSUSE

在 openSUSE 11.2 中的一些重要改进包括：

  • 以 KDE 4.3 作为默认的桌面环境
  • GNOME 2.28
  • OpenOffice.org 3.1
  • 微博客户端 Gwibber 和 Choqok
  • 能够加密整个硬盘，可以使用 Ext4 或体验 btrfs
  • WebYaST 技术预览版
  • 能够使用 Zypper 升级
  • 通过 Build Service 提供教育类应用程序
  • 特别的 spin Li-f-e：Linux for Education

    个人感觉opensuse比ubuntu要好用。启动速度大概在15秒多（包括把windows下的硬盘mount，并开启lamp服务等），也比较快。而且build service提供的软件software search一下，就可以找到很多最新的软件。软件源也很丰富。而且初次安装时，用dvd安装，所有的开发套件c++,java，ide，ddd，都可以一次安装好。强烈建议大家改用opensuse.

    一直觉得KDE那么酷的视觉效果，但是那个任务栏真是相当难看...

    这次准备下个装下，4.7G的DVD应该不用随便个软件都去慢慢连接下载安装了吧

    http://ftp.sjtu.edu.cn和sohu和163的 mirrors 都很快。此外，***的http://ftp.novell.co.jp/pub/opensuse/distribution/速度也有100k多. 即使直接连接德国的suse的源，速度也有100k左右。 怎么会慢呢？实在着急，就下载kde live iso版本.

    我的amd64x2 2.3G 2g ddr800的主机启动和运行GNOME版的OPENSUSE始终比UBUNTU慢，能分析下吗？我用过的发行版速度排下名：puppy ubuntu gentoo debian mandrvia rhel opensuse。opensuse是最慢的。说说是啥原因呢，难道是因为我是AMD的CPU，一般是针对INTEL优化的吗？

    @不才: 是装的64位系统么？还是就i586的？ 我以前也发现了，用livecd-i686装的时候，suse运行起来特慢，后来下了amd64的dvd，才发现误会了

    请问装nv173.**的驱动有问题吗？ 在fedora12身上我已经杯据了，装了驱动就进不去了，另外一台装190的可以。

    @damn,在fedora12上我的那塊FX5200顯卡倒是能順利安裝.只不過進不去X,不知道什么緣故.所以才有此一問,鏡像很大免得白下:).請問有人用FX5200安裝成功的嗎?(直接從nvidia下載的驅動)
