GNU GRUB 1.97 beta1 发布

GNU GRUB 的开发者已经发布了 1.97 beta1 版本。GRUB 全称为”GRand Unified Bootloader“，它是一个系统引导程序。GNU GRUB 1.97 beta1 属于 GRUB 2 分支，GRUB 2 是 GRUB 的下一代版本。

GNU GRUB 1.97 beta1 主要添加了 hdparm、drivemap、crc、sleep 等命令，将 update-grub 重命名为 grub-mkconfig，支持 RAID 4/6/10、Lua 脚本、EXT4 文件系统，新增了 grub-pe2elf、grub-fstest 等工具。

    增加了EXT4的支持，是不是EXT4分区就可以单独挂载/boot了？听说ubuntu9.04 EXT4分区单独挂载/boot无法启动。

    Gurb 2 终于开始 beta 了！

    现在除了开机 BIOS 一块，完全可以用 UTF-8 指导用户轻松使用计算机。

    哈……昨天教女朋友安装 Fedora 11 时的预言成真了……

    看来 Fedora 13 有希望用上 GRUB 2 ……

    的确是的，目前的 GRUB 不支持 /boot 的 ext4 格式。

    GRUB2还没用，毕竟GRUB太成熟了一下子适应不了完全不一样的GRUB2……

    据我所知，ubuntu karmic现在就是默认使用grub2

    支持EXT4 文件系统了！ 那升级到 Fedora 12 的时候应该就可以放心地使用 ext4 了，呵呵

    拉倒吧！ F12的grub2-1.97.1-2貌似仍不支持ext4！ insmod ext4说没那文件 不加这句，就当ext3启动，说不支持的特性(240)什么的……

    @黑日白月: 可是偶想体验grub2啊～ubuntu的grub2都支持ext4了…… 大家都说支持，唯独feodra12的grub2竟然不支持ext4了……晕～
