Linux 下使用 VoipStunt

很快要出国，最近开始关注比较合算的网络电话，Skype 太贵，很多人都推荐这个：http://www.voipstunt.com/，看了一下的确不错，打国内算下来才 5 分钱一分钟，而且前段还是免费的。很多人说 Linux 下不能用 VoipStunt，但是我看到它提供了 sip 的访问，想想 Linux 下支持 sip 的东西不少，应该没问题，于是注册了账号，充了 5 欧元，开始折腾。

首先想到 Ubuntu 自带的那个 Ekiga，但这玩意太让我失望了，pc-phone 功能居然只能用 Ekiga.net 自己的账号才开放。搜了搜新立得，找到了这么个东西：Twinkle，试了一下果然可以完美支持 VoipStunt（指电话功能，看余额什么的是不成）。

设定如下图（NAT 设置请根据自己的网络类型设定，如需要 Stun，服务器是 Stun.Voipstunt.com）：

其他没什么可设定的，如果有防火墙的，自己去 VoipStunt 网站看需要打开哪些端口，另外如果你遇到 alsa 不能用，一用软件就死的情况，请都设定成 oss，然后平时开始注意积累 rp。

Twinkle 功能还算丰富，应该可以支持其他的 sip 服务商，大家可以试试看，另外这个是有电话本的，就在拨号键左边，别漏了。

    跟出不出国没关系呵呵，这个打国外也满便宜的，而且还经常有免费的国家，相当不错，音质也ok。

    ekiga很难用的，放弃吧，这个Twinkle挺好。

    这个网络电话很好（注资后免费时间很长，少打手机的话很便宜，速度不错），俺用了好几年了，wine虚拟过，缺少一系列动态链接库，反正有虚拟xp，就没有继续折腾。这下好了，省事不少。

    NAT根据自己的网络类型来选，想省事的话就用ekiga那个向导测试下自己的NAT类型，再来设置。

    确认，ekiga 也能用voipstunt。我昨天用此配合打电话回国内，感觉还不错。界面比twinkle好看些。 非常感谢，toy推荐voipstunt。很便宜，免费打加拿大。

    Ekiga voipstunt 用了一段时间了，就这几天的事突然不能用了。我就更新了一个 ubuntu 的包。奇怪！ 用户能注册上，拨号过十秒左右就报异常中断。能给点建议吗。我不知道如何把那个更新包去掉。谢谢！

    If you get disconnected very often (such as 2 min after starting every phone call), try to tune your settings of twinkle:

    goto "Edit -> System settings -> Audio -> Advanced", and select

    OSS fragment size: 64 ALSA play period size: 64 ALSA capture period size: 16

    This should be able to improve the sound quality and alleviate the problem. I got better performance even than windows version of voipstunt!
