    ogg vorbis的音质确实没话说，但ogg theora的画质差H.264一截

    Theora 差不多和 XviD 同級數，差一等是正常的。

    x264 據說是所有 H.264 encoder 裡面最好的，真是開源的驕傲。 可惜 H.264 在散布上會有問題…不然早就採取了。

    H264有GPU加速以后还是很爽的……每次转PSP的MP4都用cuda，速度暴快50多fps…… 用cpu只有可怜的零点几fps

    自flash支援h.264后，就注定它成为事实标准，flash的装机率可超过IE阿

    要推广theora，还不如游说adobe，mozilla自己硬推可没啥份量

    其实 adobe 在此项是没有什么话语权的，相反 HTML5 就是为了终结浏览器需要类似 Flash 或者 Silverlight 此类插件才能播放多媒体内容的现状。

    比如目前的 Firefox 3.5 不需要任何插件，安装完成后就可以播放 Ogg Theora 的视频。

    Ogg Theora 的画质有望在今年底达到 H264 的水平。

    @黑日白月: 还有匹黑马是Google，他们收购了On2，很可能Google要通过Youtube来力挺VP8了
