网易启动开源项目镜像站

近日，作为国内门户网站之一的网易悄然启动了一个开源项目镜像站点，该站点网址位于：http://mirrors.163.com。目前，尚未看到网易官方发布此镜像的相关信息。

笔者浏览了网易的开源项目镜像站点目录，发现其主要提供以下几类镜像：

  • 发行版镜像：包括 Linux 及 *BSD 在内的发行版的 ISO 映像文件可在该镜像站点找到。比如常见的 Ubuntu/Debian、Redhat/Fedora/Centos、FreeBSD、OpenBSD 等等。也有一些发行版的 ISO 映像，目前网易的镜像站点尚未提供，像 openSUSE、Arch Linux、Slackware、Mandriva 等。
  • 软件库镜像：像是 Ubuntu、Debian、Gentoo 等都有提供，另有一些目录为空，或许正在同步中。
  • 软件镜像：一些较大型的软件，网易的镜像站点也有提供，如 JDK、Eclipse、Openfiler 等。

如今网易为各位开源爱好者带来新的镜像选择，自然是大家所乐意见到的。希望网易的开源项目镜像站能够进一步得到完善。如果你有建议或意见，可与 mirror@service.netease.com 联系。

    Arch也有了，比ftp.archlinux.org快多了。网易应该用的也是开源平台。

    国内感觉电信用户最快的源是lupaworld，经常满速，而且各种仓库都很全。

    163不知道是个什么情况。观望一下……

    我是4号晚上随便ping了一下 发现通了，就赶紧换上了，下载速度1M多 爽！都和我在windows下用迅雷下电影差不多了

    我支持网易，技术圈子里永远的老大，从中国第一的邮箱，个人主页甚至于许多年前的计数器。。一直伴我们长大，难以忘怀那个光辉稳健的时代。 如果我没估计错，应该是打算走类google文化路，我个人振臂欢呼。 希望将来有机会能为之效力 ^_^

    @kaph: 貌似openSUSE和Fedora的源都慢，最有必要 Arch和Debian的国外源倒都很快 听说迅雷下的iso经常会有不完整的

    我就遇到几次迅雷下ISO出现md5校验不一致的情况。 只用源地址链接就没问题，看来是迅雷p2sp的算法有点问题。

    根本不需要理会这个站原来是啥站. 之前的mirrors.cn99.com我还没兴趣.因为当时好像是没arch的源镜像.

    不知道现在mirrors.163.com里面的arch源镜像会不会每天跟新. 因为arch每天都有更新.........

    这两天试用了下 apt-get 的速度5.7M/s~7.1M/s之间 一般维系在6.8M/s左右 爽

    从俞华峰一出狱不久，丁磊就起用他作为网易营销副总裁，就可以看出丁磊的独到眼光。 这次163搞开源镜像，背后是否有大动作不说，首先起到的广告作用就不可小看呀。

    在mirrors.163.com里面的arch源镜像更新很慢.2月5日有镜像，到现在还没同步过一次！ 速度倒是很快，我家里电信10M LAN，完全满速，pacman时显示14xx Kb/s
