Metacity 获得复合特性

GNOME 用户还在艳羡 KDE 4.0 中 KWin 所具有的特殊效果吗？目前，一个新的 Metacity 开发分支显示，GNOME 桌面环境中的默认窗口管理器 Metacity 也已获得了复合特性。换言之，现在即使你不用 Compiz Fusion，使用 Metacity 也能够获得透明、阴影、以及 Alt + Tab 切换效果。对于要求不高的用户来说，还是值得尝试的。

    有 XGL 就能 Dock 吧。 Dock 只是以来一些库。

    等了很久了。以前有个xcomgr（好像是这个名字）也可以实现阴影，太耗资源。这下好了，不用aiglx也可以了。

    在xfwm里不早就已经实现透明和阴影了吗？

    简单的透明，阴影效果xfce的xfwm早实现了，这个。。。要不就弄点利用aiglx的东西，ati都支持aiglx了，不愁驱动不支持了

    RedHat 不早就有代混合的 metacity 么，现在是正式合并？

    不过如果还是 RedHat 里那几个不中用效果的话，也没什么意义了，

    简单的透明和阴影不要也罢

    @Toy:也可弄到图上那效果？我是加compiz，个人觉得compiz使系统用起来更方便。

    一般，都是很普通的特效，但是很实用。Compiz 很多特效在不好的机器上不少要关了，这个不用。
