Magic Linux 2.5 Beta 3 发布

Magic Linux 于昨日发布了 2.5 的最后一个 Beta 测试版本 Beta 3。Magic Linux 2.5 Beta 3 除了修正上一版中的 bug 之外，还对系统软件和仓库进行了更新。

Magic Linux 2.5 Beta 3 修正了 Kpackage 中文乱码、U 盘不能挂载、KDE 3 上的 Konqueror 访问带有 js 网站崩溃等问题，并为内核的 Squashfs 和 Squashfs-tools 添加了 LZMA 支持。

在系统软件方面，Magic Linux 2.5 Beta 3 的更新包括 Kernel 2.6.31、X.org server 1.6.3.901、KDE 4.3.1、Firefox 3.5.3、Amarok 2.1.80、Fcitx 3.6.1 等等。

    做一个发行版就像盖房，不但需要杰出的图纸设计师，还需要搬砖砌墙的农民工，开源坚持下去靠什么，靠的是类似宗教一样的崇拜和大量的人气，只要是坚持下来的发行版都是值得尊敬的，Magic Linux 也一样，如果那个西红柿还是雨林的如果能坚持下来的话，也应该值得人尊敬。。。。

    @zdlopen:

    我认为，最大的帮凶是目前国内的计算机教育。大家都只学windows，ms office，photoshop，3Dmax等商业软件，开源的种子在这样的土壤里很难生根发芽并茁壮成长。

    当初ubuntu还没这么优秀的时候就用magic，可惜后来遇到团队分歧问题导致了2.0版本发布的延迟问题，不过最后还是坚持下来了！可喜可贺，linux用户的参考选择

    必须要表示尊敬，magic linux是国内最纯粹的开源力量了。公司背景的Everest/Qomo现在默默无声，华擂linux也逐渐淡出，只有magic linux还在挣扎。希望有力量，有时间的kde爱好者支持下！

    还没死，很好。MAGIC2.0用大半年，是曾经用过时间最长的发行版，顶一下！

    再次下载失败... 希望能多上传点网盘空间,比如大米盘.半年前我就下载magiclinux失败,今天想尝试,又失败了,下到600多MB断掉...

    大学里教的都是MS家族的产品，但也不乏开源爱好者，我从大二开始用ubuntu,大四时改用更加方便的openSUSE,一直到现在，不过感觉国内的发行版做的不是很好，支持一下就行了，如果都像红旗linux那样做梦都想从linux上赚钱的发行版，我看还是算了，看一下红旗的宣传就感到恶心，愣是把linux、firefox这些说的好像是它自己开发的一样，抄袭真是可耻啊！

    有爱好者可以帮忙传到网盘分流。当然，有ftp就更好了。magic官方的带宽很小

    早上花了3个小时下载刻盘安装KDE4版本的. 发现问题 1,安装过程还要我选择SCSI硬盘参数.XORG参数等,感觉需要改进; 2,安装完了启动时失败,说CPU缺少PAE什么的. 3,GRUB启动界面很特别很漂亮;

    最后把刻的盘仍了.还好只是在虚拟机上安装. 坚持/努力.

    支持国内真正的社区发行版MagicLinux的务实的努力。 不过现在已经完全习惯Deb系统了，只能纯精神上支持了。

    嗯，国内的社区都是说国外的东西，在MagicLinux之前，linuxfans我是经常去的，后来他们做MagicLinux，网站也长时间不更新了，就没有去了，不过说国内的社区linux，感觉还是他们走的务实，支持下！虚拟机上用用！顺手了一定支持！！！

    @majiayi 其实我有个计划,为中小学计算机教材提供配套的开源软件(不一定只提供Linux的,也有Windows),但有些问题还在考虑.

    @jazzi 如果是在virtualbox上试的,需要把传递pae的参数打开,如果是实机测试但cpu不支持pae,请下载nopae的版本.

    这个版本不是很满意,不如beta2,因为我冒进,使用了2.6.31,有些问题.带宽的问题是没办法的,下个版本会提供bt和ed的地址.

    很久以前（04年?）就听说过 magic linux了，当时介绍说是对中文支持比较好的Linux，可惜一直没用过。 同样也被12楼的兄弟感动了。
