ioSwiftFox — Linux 中的 Firefox 便携版

前天有个读者朋友在 LinuxTOY 上丢了个链接，开始没细看，后来禁不住好奇过去下载并体验了一下，原来是一个挺有意思的程序──ioSwiftFox。从名称标识上，这个 ioSwiftFox 看起来是一个 Swiftfox 修改版本。但 ioSwiftFox 有自己的特色，它不需要安装就可直接运行，这不就是 Firefox 便携版嘛。

ioSwiftFox

你可以从这里下载 ioSwiftFox，目前是 0.8.5 版，基于 Firefox 2.0.0.6，并针对 Pentium 4 处理器做了优化。

你能够使用下列指令从终端运行它： chmod a+x ioSwiftFox2.0.0.6-pentium4Infodomestic0.8.5 ./ioSwiftFox2.0.0.6-pentium4Infodomestic0.8.5

在运行之前，你需要先关闭 Firefox 或 Swiftfox。

    不是说swiftfox是non-free的么？怎么还可以修改呢？

    根本不存在什么便携版，下载的官方FIREFOX本来就不用安装。swiftfox的打包版也不用安装，别自己用惯了.deb就以为别的都是“便携版”。。。

    openSUSE的firefox安装版比官方免安装版快。

    OK. 你可以不接受“便携版”的提法，但你就可以动不动给人乱扣帽子吗？这里是deb菜鸟的世界，看来不适合你这样的高手出没。

    31M的一个shell文件（包）。。。 下载有些费流量啊 好歹打个包压缩一下啊，@@ 按照firefox的体积，估计也就9M

    Firefox可以不安装阿，解压缩就可以. swiftfox也同样可以解压缩就使用(deb包除外),而且还有针对多种cpu的版本，也很便携吧？ ioswiftfox和swiftfox比较起来好像没有什么优势，如果是win版的就好了。

    Firefox是否便携并不重要。我原来也想自己搞个便携的FF的，但是并不成功。后来觉得用"-p"参数，把配置文件夹带着到处走就好了，颇方便。

    可能Toy介紹得不好 其實ioswiftfox可以把設定帶着走 不用加甚麼參數，不用cp .mozila 便携版不是單單不用安裝 還要把配置都帶走 瀏覧記錄也不會留下
