Galaxium 是一款支持多协议的即时通讯工具，目前主要对 MSN、Jabber、GTalk、IRC 等提供了支持，未来版本还将支持 Yahoo!、AIM 和 ICQ。使用 Galaxium，你能够与自己的家人、朋友及同事即时保持联系。

在功能上，Galaxium 当前主要包括：联系人列表管理、个性化定制 (显示头像、状态消息、表情等)、文件传输、MSN 及 Jabber (+GTalk) 会话支持、支持 Adium 主题和 GStreamer 音频。

Galaxium Galaxium 聊天窗口

Galaxium 正在开发下列功能：IRC 会话支持、群聊天、聊天历史记录、MSN 离线消息、音频/视频聊天等。

看起来，Galaxium 已实现或即将实现的功能都很有意思，值得保持关注。就是 Galaxium 使用 Mono 开发，需要一些依赖，安装起来有点麻烦。感兴趣的朋友，可参考 Galaxium 的安装介绍 (需从源代码编译)。

    集成化的IM tool似乎也越来越多了，感觉用处不是很大了，我都是直接用kopete的了，msn的视频啥的都支持

    不知道支持HTTP代理不。

    KDE 3.5.X 下的Kopete不支持代理，而Pidgin的代理设置似乎只是一个摆设，依然登陆不上Gtalk。

    只支援MSN的KMess出了新版1.5 很好用 對於我這個只用MSN的人來說超方便
