Foxit Reader for desktop Linux 1.0 发布

4月21日，著名的 PDF 解决方案供应商 Foxit Software 发布了 Foxit Reader for Desktop Linux 1.0 正式版本。

该版本相对于先前发布的 Beta 版本，有以下变化：

  • 增加了对于非嵌入式 中文、日文和韩语字符的支持；（经测试，中文期刊网的 PDF 可正常显示）
  • 通过添加抗锯齿功能提升了打印质量；
  • 增加了“上一页”和“下一页”功能；
  • 增加保存 PDF 功能。
目前仅提供 tar.bz2 版本下载。

”偷跑“的 RPM 版本下载

注意：先前使用 RPM 方式安装过 Beta 版本的用户需要先卸载已有版本才可安装。

su -c 'rpm -e FoxitReader-1.0-1.fc9.i386'

之后双击上面从上面下载的偷跑版本的 RPM 即可安装。

    以前用过，但安装失败。遗憾的是不支持64位，现在用纯64位系统。

    比起beta版好一点，中文支持比evince好，但字体渲染仍然不如evince，英文字体（尤其当字体较小时）有毛刺，好像不会读取.fonts.conf里的字体渲染优先级——evince则可以；中文楷体也有毛刺，宋体则无问题。

    @dybnu: 多台机器测试结果：支持中文文件名的。 翻页的快捷键是 Page Down。

    曾经是windows下用得最多的pdf阅读器，不过在linux下看不出比okular、evince优越的地方啊，而且缺少了linux下很多软件都会有的特性：打开同一个文件，自动回到上次阅读/播放的地方。

    hi all, 非常感谢大家对foxit reader的关注。 foxit reader for desktop linux 目前还处于起步阶段，并且我们的开发人员实在有限（目前为止所有的功能都是一个人完成的），所以还有很多不完善需要改进的地方。 还有，因为我们本身对linux平台软件包的发布太不了解，所以开始阶段出现了一系列的问题，例如rpm包的命名，beta版本的时候我们忘记了加上beta标志，结果导致了正式版和beta版本的命名一模一样了。 不过，我们会继续努力的，也希望大家能够多提建议，帮助我们一步步完善起来。 ps：对于字体渲染的问题，我们自己也已经意识到了，不过因为时间人力精力诸方面的原因，这次还是没有成功的调整完毕。这个工作还在进行中，应该会在下个版本有比较大的突破的。

    还可以，Evince 不能打开的繁体PDF，用它可以打开，速度有点慢。

    可以用了,不错. 之前有个关于python的中文pdf文档,用gnome和kde带的pdf阅读器打开都没有汉字,用foxit能正常看了,谢谢.

    @Queena: 似乎不能设定是否打开侧边栏，就是目录什么的，每次都打开，也没有快捷键关闭。有点麻烦。另外，设定个退出快捷键吧，q，ctrl+q，ctrl+w都行。最好所有的快捷键都兼容xpdf的。

    嗯，我们打算做一个自定制快捷键来着，前两天刚讨论的。现在还在技术评估阶段，如果不是很麻烦，那应该会在下个版本加上这样一个功能的。如果比较麻烦，那么我们就先局部加些大家常用的快捷键。

    都没有acroread好用， 安装也快， 依赖也少， 启动也不慢，什么都支持。

    foxit关于PDF的编辑功能不知道何时能登陆linux呢。很期待啊～唯一比较可惜的是，貌似它不是开源的。

    能把配置文件移动到.config下去么？glib有ggetuserconfigdir()，这样符合XDG标准，我比较不喜欢配置文件全部放到$HOME下

    很多软件配置文件都迁移了

    希望能够双击选定（即抹黑）单词，因为看文献时要用stardict取词，双击取词最方便，现在这个好像只能拖鼠标抹黑，并且自动复制到剪贴板了，希望不要自动复制到剪贴板，只是存放到中建粘贴的那里面就好（stardict就是从那里取词的）。linux下能双击取词的就evince和acroread，evince在有些pdf上会抹黑一大块，所以我看文献就只好用acroread，但是acroread太大，反应不快。foxit则小巧迅速，支持foxit做出这些功能，那就无敌了。

    不好用，打印不出來，wine的foxitreader最好, 讀取和打印速度飛快

    下載: http://myubuntu.ca/download/FoxitReaderLinux.tar.gz

    安裝: tar -zxf FoxitReaderLinux.tar.gz (解壓縮) cd FoxitReaderLinux cp FoxitReader.exe ~/.wine/drive_c/windows/ sudo cp foxitreader /usr/bin/

    使用： 把pdf的打開方式改為foxitreader

    另外PDF-XChange Viewer也很不錯，可以一試 http://myubuntu.ca/download/PDFXCviewLinux.tar.gz

    acroread 8.x 啟動與運行巨慢無比 我一直在用7.1版的，第一次啟動慢，cache后就很快了。

    支持，希望加上win下foxit的文件打开位置记忆功能。Evince不能看繁体中文，我一般都用foxit看繁体pdf。
