Foxit Reader for Linux 推新版

Foxit Reader，一款在 Windows 平台下颇有名气的 PDF 阅读软件，其 Linux 版推出也有些时日了。由于当初使用 Foxit Reader for Linux 看 PDF 文档时保留有水印，笔者并没有太多使用。最近，Foxit Reader 针对 Linux 系统推出了更新版本 1.0 Beta。经笔者再次试用，其功能性及可用性都大为改观，故笔者在此向大家作个推荐，若你有兴趣，不妨亲自体验，以决定取舍。

Foxit Reader

Foxit Reader for Linux 支持包括书签、页面缩放与旋转、搜索、文本选取、阅读加密 PDF（需给定密码）等在内的各种功能，且打开速度快，占用内存小。

Foxit Reader for Linux 提供 bz2、sh、rpm 等格式的安装包，可从其官方网站下载。

    中国期刊网的 PDF 中文无法显示…… 这是我唯一用非 Evince PDF 查看器的理由……

    他的成功很大程度上是adobe reader日益臃肿导致的……

    @GraphiteCube: I saw packages called ttf-xpdf-chinese(not sure) in Archlinux, I think this is what it uses to display Chinese.

    Arch的AUR上已经有了，安装很方便 试用了一下 好像不错 反正我win下的pdf阅读器就是它

    这个我在 Linux 下是 wine 去用的。除了书签无法显示中文，其他都很好。

    一直不明白这个foxit是不是中国公司开发的东东吗 在中文网(福昕)说国产的 在英文网咋连个china都没提到呢??

    @wix 之前 F9 的时候还行，升级到 F10 就不行了，无语……

    咋不能显示方块字呢？ Win下的foxit free 用的很爽，Linux下的咋就疲软呢，嘿嘿！

    看中文你得装Poppler-data，我三大爷曾经用Ubuntu的时候就是有这个问题，然后他从console打开，结果错误显示一大堆，其中出现很多次poppler，然后他就搜索synpatic就发现了这个包，装上之后还是会有错误输出到console，但是中文可以显示了。

    对中日韩字体已经支持了，但要求系统中必须有相应语言的字体文件。只对true type字体解析。
