Fedora 8 Test 2 Screenshots

前天，Fedora 开发团队发布了 Fedora 8 Test 2，也就是 Fedora 7.91，新版本有一些改进，具体可以看这里。我也花了一些时间来体验这个版本，并为大家截取了一些屏幕图片。希望就此能够帮助大家更好的了解 Fedora 8。

    redhat 把个人版的开发停了好长时间， 之后发现对市场占有率和声望有所影响， 就传而开发 Fedora，私心很重！

    SuSE自9.0火起来以后，商业氛围就大了， 之后 OpenSuSE 10.1 之后的开发力度就弱了很多

    个人看好SUSE,自己在用Ubuntu. 感觉,软件要发展好,能赢利是关键.Ubuntu现在是靠大富翁撑着,SUSE能赚钱.:)

    非常喜欢Fedora这个版本。而且从Red Hat 9.0以后，就一直在用fedora，但是发现双号版比单号版稳定，所以FC3使了一段时间以后，就一直在用FC4，FC6，期待FC8稳定版诞生。

    redhat 的 rhel 是这样的模式：依赖社区的力量开发 fedora，然后再基于 fedora，选择核心的内容作为 rhel。这样的做法很好呀，社区积极参与 fedora，影响一个发行版的方向，而 redhat 根据这样的方向来做产品，就可以减少很多成本，很容易地知道热点问题和真实的需求，总是处于潮流前列。这是个良性循环/正反馈，就算有人说三道四，这个模式还是很成功的。

    国内有开发者吗？！

    国内可以给 fedora 反馈，直接参与 fedora 的人不到十个！

    要是开个镜像专门养活不做贡献的人，把有限的资源花到不思回报的寄生虫身上，真是进水了！

    呵呵，急功近利是不行的，现在国内LINUX用户本来就少，还没几个人了解就想着别人贡献、回报，这才真是脑子进水了呢。

    其实系统和软件的升级对用户体验来说,区别不大,用户使用桌面环境重要的还是视感和人性化,相对于商业系统而言,Linux在这方面还是有很长的路要走。

    2楼的 fc只是rh的小白鼠，rhel要用的东东，先在fc上实验好了再放到rhel上，而且极不重视fc，导致fc问题暴多，很多人就是因为受够了，才转ubuntu的,而且国内只有教育网才有源，公网用户更新相当慢，而ubuntu就不同了，国内公网上有多个源

    我用Fedora一年多了，感觉很好，没有发现传说中的“不稳定”体现在哪。 Fedora的yum加上一个fastest-mirrors插件，更新速度照样飞快。 不过这次F8的界面……怎么觉得不如F7啊

    我一直用 fedora 从 1 开始到现在，感觉非常不错。我觉得这不是小白鼠，软件的开发过程就是这样的，如果你想用稳定版本可以选择centos等。另外，对ubuntu的感觉是还不太成熟，远没有 fedora 这样的发行版创新多，所以我觉得如果是对 linux 和自由软件感兴趣还是用 fedora 的好。包管理其实也还不错，比较完整，还是比较先进的，apt-dpkg、yum-rpm 各有千秋，不好说哪个好，不过国内好像多是 ubuntu 和 debian。

    我也觉得fedora 挺好的。虽然fedora 在有的系统上不是太稳定，但是大多数用户使用起来还是很不错的。至少我现在的两台电脑上，从fedora core 1到fedora 7，都运行得很稳定。 fedora 的一个很大的特色就是每个版本都有很多创新，而不光是更新软件包。很多的新特性都是fedora 先提出或者应用之后，其他发行版才开始使用。比如将要发布的ubuntu 7.10的很多新东西，在fedora 7上就已经实现了。

    感觉 fedora 进步很快，蛮好用的

    ubuntu 也还不错，只是本人不是很会用 apt 的一系列命令

    坦率说, fedora比ubuntu更好. ubuntu适合一般人员的使用; fedora(KDE)适合开发人员. (无论如何ubuntu里面的许多包都来自fedora.) 本人有点鄙视ubuntu. 花钱不支持免费开源的fedora, 却要自己去搞个ubuntu的牌子, 又老用fedora的成果.说是redhat私心重, 人家是公司要生存, 你大富翁有钱还借着开源名义, 不说是想盈利. 比较虚伪.
