短消息：Fedora 12 准备就绪

Fedora 12 已经准备就绪，目前已经发布 RC3。

在 Redhat 的努力下， Fedora 12 终于在发布前用上了 X.org 1.7.1。目前处于正式发布前的冻结状态，只有影响重大 Bug 会被收录，较小的 Bug 会以 0-day 更新的方式予以解决。Fedora 12 预期于 11月17日发布。

当前阶段的主要目标是测试安装，请将安装结果汇报至这里。

    从 Fedora 10 开始要用 sha256sum 校验，而不是 sha1sum。

    @黑日白月: 谢谢，“gpg --print-md sha256 foo”，校验成功。不过，我看那个ftp上的校验文件写的是sha1啊，呵呵，估计写错了。BTW，这个版本不错，我的指纹登陆很轻松的就是用上了。

    @黑日白月: 黑白兄，不知道你关机的时候，plymouth是否还工作呢？？Fedora 11里面好好的效果，Fedora 12似乎没有了，这bug貌似没有被修复的意思...

    现在1.7.1和nvidia官方驱动还有kde之间还有问题，面板上的某些程序会造成5秒-10秒的X server挂起，arch那边也是，不过貌似都在64bit上出现。反正这个东西现在还很麻烦，官方forum上反馈这个问题的也不少，不过貌似还不清楚具体的问题出在哪里，据说arch那边用fedora的一个补丁解决了，但是fedora自己的还是有问题。

    不工作。的确，Fedora 11 还好着…… 话说这几天 Plymouth 更新了数次，也没见修复……

    @zakarum:

    之前的 1.7.0 Bug 挺多，我的 Longman 不断导致 X 崩溃……更新到 1.7.1 好多了……

    Nvidia 190.42 驱动。

    好消息。现在一直用fedora 12 beta，已经很稳定了。感觉比之前的版本发布一个月后的稳定性还好

    @landrew: 拉倒吧~这12 beta从我开始装的时候就bug不断～ 安装出错一次，重装，装完了一开始启动又是firstboot崩溃导致无法启动，kill了他才启动起来～还有……不说了，考虑到是beta，不牢骚了～等正式版～～～

    我試了一下, 無法在USD移動硬盤上安裝, 查了一下, 發現是USB-ATA驅動的問題, 只好使用F11的kernel; 装完了也有一开始启动firstboot崩溃的問題

    @黑日白月: 他们紧急build了一个从arch那边拿来的1.7.1-7.1，问题解决了- -!!! 不过3D性能比f11下降了一些，估计nvidia的驱动问题比较大。

    公司服务器装的是RHEL，家里用fedora，这样最好。省得其他乱七八糟的版本不统一。
