Cherokee：最快的 Web 服务器

Cherokee 号称是目前最快的 Web 服务器软件，在性能上，甚至比 Nginx 还略胜一筹。与 Apache、Lighttpd、Nginx 等其他同类软件的对比，大家不妨看看这个测试页面。我在本机安装了 Cherokee，一番使用下来，Cherokee 给我的感觉是，其易用性做得也很不错。

Cherokee

Cherokee 的功能包括支持 FastCGI、SCGI、PHP、CGI、TLS 及 SSL 加密连接，虚拟主机，授权认证，实时编码，载入均衡，与 Apache 兼容的 log 文件等等。

Cherokee 内含一个名为 cherokee-admin 的工具，执行后，允许管理员直接通过浏览器进入 http://localhost:9090/ 对其进行管理和配置。比如，开启或关闭服务器，进行一般选项的设定，配置虚拟服务器、信息源、图标、Mime 类型等项目。

    我最烦一些夸大的话了
    前一阵到处找linux下好的绘图软件 结果看到一个介绍:可以替代Photoshop的软件…
    狂喜中，下载下来，嗯，确实在某种非常特定的场合下可以替代photoshop…像画条直线什么的….自此之后 有photoshop就用photoshop，当然gimp也有些胜过photoshop(我只用过7.0,别的版本不知道),有时也用gimp,不再想着找一个更好的软件linux绘图了..
    譬如这个什么最快的…光快有用吗?
    toy用这个标题，不仅仅是不严谨了

    Cherokee我不了解，但是Gimp绝对不能替代PS，而Linux在专业制图方面确实也没有更好的软件了。这个算特例。说Gimp可以替代PS是不真实的宣传。但是Toy这篇文仅仅是说“最快”而已，跟Gimp的夸大完全不是一回事。

    修正一下，我说的那个软件不是gimp
    gimp说是可替代photoshop也可以接收，linux下确实就它了
    那个号称可替代gimp软件,其实不是一个，我是搜了好几个都是类似说法　不是说可以替代photoshop就是说一个功能强大的绘图软件…

    是 Cherokee 的官方主页自己说自己是 Fastest free Web Server 的，又不是 Toy 说的，转载时也用了“号称”……
    况且 Toy 没说过“光快就有用”，更没说过“最快的就是最好的”……

    As you get your blog syndicated at least on planet GNOME you should put a disclaimer on your benchmarks that reveal that a) you are the creator / developer of cherokee and b) you have a start-up behind it. :-)

    不过只支持静态内容。boa也不慢啊
