Awesome 3.4 发布

流行的平铺式窗口管理器 Awesome 已于昨日发布了新的 3.4 版本。Awesome 3.4 主要对底层代码进行了改进，包含更加统一的对象模型。同时，该版本对默认的配置文件 rc.lua 进行了精简（减少了 110 行），将其中的一部分移入 awful，使之更易管理。此外，Awesome 3.4 还包括新的 widget 布局系统。

    没有用过的值得试试，完全不同的体验！

    ：-） 我试过了，暂时还不太习惯。毕竟触摸屏就在大拇指这，动鼠标的习惯好点。

    以前我因为ubuntu hardy源里没有现成的包就放弃3.0了，后来转到arch下用上3.3发现为了awesome花时间学点lua还是值得的。lua挺好玩的，小巧而强大。

    又试用了musca,据说运行只占内存300-400k。感觉就像ratpoison的分支（其实不是），功能比ratpoison丰富。支持鼠标电击和窗口浮动，可以看作ratpoison的加强版。

    Ratpoison的mouse支援太陽春了吧... 還有不能用GIMP之類軟件... Awesome配置文件又天天變 Musca聽說不穏定 Xmonad的Haskell又不懂 ion3的版權問題又... wmii的配置好像好麻煩 (plan9 filesystem什麼的俺聽也未聽過吶) 難道真的要我回歸fluxbox嗎... Orz

    PS. 現在俺還在用ion, 不過己經準備換了, 又不知道換誰好...

    版本号都已经3.x了还升级一次就fuck一次用户的配置文件。。。还有java问题，虽然确实是个不错的东西也只好放弃回openbox了。

    Java 的问题其实是 JRE 的一个 Bug，它违背了ICCCM，这不是 Awesome 的责任，而且已经向 Sun 通报了许多次了。解决办法参见http://awesome.naquadah.org/wiki/ProblemswithJava
