ATI Catalyst 已更新到 8.10

AMD 已将面向 Linux 平台的 ATI Catalyst 显示驱动更新到了 8.10 版。新版本引入了 AMDTM CAL（Computer Abstraction Layer，计算机抽象层）运行库及 Red Hat Enterprise Linux 4.7 支持，同时对 ATI Catalyst 控制中心进行了增强。

其中，值得一提的是，本版本的 ATI Catalyst 控制中心增加了如下两项特性：

  1. 能够控制风扇转速。
  2. 支持强制显示组件侦测。

目前，ATI Catalyst 8.10 的发布页面还处于不可查看状态，但已经可从这里下载 ATI Catalyst 8.10 的安装文件，该安装文件支持 32 位及 64 位平台。

    支持xorg.7.4 "I just got mail from a user claiming catalyst 8.10 working with Xorg 7.4 which is also in OpenSuSE 11.1 beta2." arch邮件列表里面看见的！

    经过对8.10驱动所附带的文件的分析，发现其中有有关UVD的符号 因此猜测，ati的驱动将支持linux下使用UVD http://www.phoronix.com/scan.php?page=news_item&px=Njc4Ng

    fglrx内核模块编译老是会出错 通过Gentoo的portage编译就没问题，好奇怪阿
