VRMS: 你使用了多少非自由软件

稍微熟悉 GNU 历史的朋友，相信对 Richard M. Stallman 不会感到陌生。VRMS 即 Virtual Richard M. Stallman 的简称，这是一个有趣的小程序，它可以检测出你的 GNU/Linux 系统中到底安装了多少非自由软件，除了给出相应包的简略说明外，更有所占百分比作为度量。你可以通过 VRMS 来了解自己使用了多少非自由软件。

VRMS 在基于 Debian 的系统上可以使用如下命令安装：

# aptitude install vrms

VRMS 的源代码可从 alioth.debian.org 获取。

在安装 VRMS 后接着执行 vrms -e 即可知晓你的系统中安装了哪些非自由软件。

    显卡驱动, rar , vbox非自由版本, 其它软件居然都是开源的, 我真容易满足啊

    原来ubuntu10.04下也有非自由软件，一个是nvidia驱动，一个是微软字体安装程序。但是这两个是以Contrib packages名义存在的，不知道什么意思。

    灰常灰常好的软件，Linux的常用软件太多了，几乎都快任不了那些非自由的软件了。这个小工具的出现，一定程度上填充了自由软件领域的空白。

    flash 完全抛弃也不现实. unrar-free 有乱码现象.

    话说 linuxtoy.org 服务器时间好像错了. 用 ntpq -p 看一下. 另外就属偶装的包最少了. :D
