Uzbl: 极度简约的网络浏览器

Uzbl 是一个很新的网络浏览器，目前正在活跃开发中，虽然眼下它连 Alpha 阶段都没达到，但通过笔者这些天的试用来看，它已经具有一定的可用性，且也足够稳定，感兴趣的同学大可一试。我推荐 Uzbl，主要因为以下几个方面令我产生兴趣：

  • 遵循 Unix 哲学开发而成，Uzbl 专注于浏览本身，包括书签、历史、下载等在内的功能通过外部脚本来完成。
  • 从 Vi/Vim/Vimperator 身上借鉴了许多，比如：命令/插入模式、Vi/Emacs 风格的键盘绑定、访问链接的 hints 模式等。
  • 界面极度简约，没有菜单栏/工具栏/地址栏这些元素，除了内容渲染区外，仅包含状态行（也可隐藏）。
  • 完全可配置，配置文件及数据文件基于 plaintext。
  • 渲染核心为 WebKit，速度相当快。

    可以折腾了。对没钱买鼠标的同学或者系统不支持鼠标的一大福音阿

    这个玩意比vimperator更绝，看上面的图，它已经有:split了，vimperator好像还没呢。
    “包括书签、历史、下载等在内的功能通过外部脚本来完成”，“完全可配置，配置文件及数据文件基于 plaintext。”，“渲染核心为 WebKit，速度相当快",这三条深深吸引了我……

    尽管平时VI是主编辑器，可试过两次VIOPERATOR，每次都试了1整天。还是觉得不如鼠标方便，有人和我一样感觉的么？

    比如，我要选中一部分文字，在浏览过程中，用鼠标左键和中键配合就挺方便，另外，当装了一些插件以后，FF的右键菜单会有很多便捷的选项。这个用VIOPERATOR就有点别扭。或许应该为所有常用的都设置快捷键？

    有时候想，VIOPERATOR这个东西是迎合这些VI fans呢，还是真正带来快捷了。 别误会，我没有针对某群人的意思，我自己每天都离不开VI，可就这个vioperator，上不了手。

    P。S。

    曾经用笔记本的小红点和同事玩过一次CS，和老婆打过一次暗黑2。那感觉，不看屏幕，光看我玩，绝对会认为我是个高手。副作用就是右手食指挺疼。

    不知道如果VI的方式放在这些游戏上会不会更快捷。

    不会在终端的，只是Toy用的wm是awesome。

    的确vimperator对于选择文字可能不如mouse方便，其它方面的还不错。我一般把它和firegusture轮流用，玩RTS的同学看了说，原来你上网是微操流的……

    刚刚我又试了一下vimperator拷文字,发现按i进入CARET模式也是很方便的。 可能你用vimperator还没找到窍门吧，反正用了这么长时间，我离了它就会不习惯了。

    Windows版……现在还没有吧。我在ubuntu里都没现成的包可用，要从ppa里装最新的webkit，还要从github下源码……教育网这个小水管啊……
    话说Windows用户会对这个东西感兴趣吗？

    必须尝鲜一下。实在忍受不了ff的内存占用 先后用过galeon,opera,mozilla,netscape,w3m 最后还是离不开ff 现在就期待google chrome了

    有时间试一下，以前用的Elinks、lynx看不到图片，用起来总不是那么方便，所以目前用的最多的是Vimperator + FF

    看上去不错，可以作为轻量的浏览器随便用用，不过应该替代不了firefox+vimperator。实在是离不开firegox的各种插件啊。

    个人觉得Vimperator最最方便的地方就是上下翻页比较方便，其他功能我还是喜欢鼠标点击。

    其实我觉得有less那样的快捷键浏览网页会方便多了。

    看了一下sampleconfig-dev,加了一行stylesheet-uri，然后在那个css里用 * { font-family: Droid Sans Fallback !important} 搞定。
    如果Toy有别的办法，也一定不吝赐教哦。

    @chisiyuan: 我使用的就是系统的字体配置，另外在 ~/.fonts.conf 中有一些设定，你可以看一下。

    试着在我的Lenny编译了一下，发现也是依赖太多了，而且有些包我这个stable版本根本就没有，要求的太新了。 哪个能释放一个deb包就好了。
