UltraEdit 是 Windows 下一款流行的老牌文本/HEX 编辑器。最近，UltraEdit 正被移植到 Linux 平台。该移植名为 UEX，意即 UltraEdit for Linux。UEX 具有原生的 Linux 外观，其界面、配置、热键等与 Windows 版并无二致。

    以前一直在WIN下用的UE，现在改用vim，在修改二进制的时候还会用到这玩意 这些商业软件都不开源的吧，像nero这种

    好事一件，虽然不用它。不开源也没事，有LGPL才能有更多商业软件能在GNU平台运行。

    UE的确是个好软件 linux真的是越来越招人爱了.

    就是还缺少一个超级的输入法, linux下的输入法和win下的还有点差距

    win下这玩意编辑很好用，特别是js脚本编辑支持很好。我有一次移植游戏的时候就用到这个，写好js直接执行来处理文本……比宏强大多了。

    我发现很多网页、杂志还有什么的只要是屏幕截图很多都是Ubuntu的界面,当然不能说是这个界面就一定是Ubuntu，但是用别的distro却用Ubuntu的界面的人不多，32楼觉得这说明什么呢？是不是说Ubuntu已经是事实上的standard distro?

    讨论这个没啥意义 linux下的各发行版谁也代替不了谁 Ubuntu居多的原因可能是他的宣传比较好 光盘版使用也比较简单吧。。

    如果如32楼所说，那么为什么不用Kubuntu呢？或者说为什么一般演示或者说明的截图都是Gnome，当然除了说明KDE的，甚至我看到不少QT软件的介绍，都是在Gnome的Ubuntu下的截图？ 35楼有何高见？

    感觉没有GVIM强大，当然，菜单是丰富很多，但是加上命令的话UE没法和GVIM和EMACS比。 另外，11楼的，LGPL也是开源的，UE明显不会用用LGPL的协议的，否则UE就只能免费提供了，大家直接下源码编译就行了。

    试了试madedit，就是我一直想要的hex编辑器，谢谢推荐的网友。

    windows下可以不使用ue了。 linux下作为gui下编辑查看hex的工具。

    文本编辑方面，用vim的时间太长了，换啥都不习惯了，也没有必要换了。

    在linux下编辑二进制的时候用madedit，写代码用scribes。 事实证明，ultraedit比不过madedit+scribes……
