Ubuntu 6.10 (Edgy Eft) Knot 3 发布及主要亮点

Ubuntu 6.10 的第三个 Alpha 版——Edgy Eft Knot 3 现已发布。与以往一样，本次发布引入了大量新增特性，其主要亮点如下：

  • 使用 Upstart 替换了原来默认的 init 系统。Upstart 具有设计清爽及使引导过程更加快速的明显优势。
  • 在 Knot 3 中，Usplash 使用了一个新的开机引导屏幕。 thumb-usplash
  • Ubuntu Knot 3 现在包括最新的 GNOME 2.16 正式版。
