Ubuntu 9.10 正式发布

开发代号为“Karmic Koala”的 Ubuntu 9.10 已经正式发布。Ubuntu 9.10 提供桌面版本、服务器版本、以及 Netbook Remix 版本，适用于 x86 和 x86_64 架构。

Ubuntu

Ubuntu 9.10 主要包括下列变化：

  • 新的外观：包括新的基于 XSplash 的引导画面和新的桌面主题
  • 新的应用：用于文件存储及分享的 Ubuntu One、Ubuntu Software Center 取代了原来的 Add/Remove Software、高级的图形化磁盘工具 Palimpsest
  • 重要组件和应用更新：Linux Kernel 2.6.31、GNOME 2.28、OpenOffice.org 3.11、Firefox 3.5、Evolution 2.28、Gwibber 2.0 等
  • Empathy 取代 Pidgin 成为默认的即时通讯客户端、GRUB 2 和 Ext4 分别作为默认的引导加载程序和默认的文件系统
  • 其他改进：对 Computer Janitor 进行了增强、Migration Assistant 能够从 Mac OS X 和 Windows 7 迁移数据、AppArmor 增加了更多的应用程序 Profile、以及改进了 iScsi 支持

    虽然已经转到了 mac，但是还在一直关注过 ubuntu，ubuntu 的社区是我见过最好的社区，加油~

    bug特别多。安装过程就会出错，然后解码器不能自动安装了。可能要过一阵才有补丁完善这些问题。

    昨天第一时间安装了Ubuntu 9.10, 变化挺大的. 不过好像有满多兼容性问题, 比如qq装好皮肤没了,ati显卡驱动装不上等....

    为什么不直接升级。。。都是重新安装，而且debian体系的包管理结构应该比rpm还要健壮，Fedora 我都是升级过来的（连续两个版本）。

    To hantsy：ubuntu的升级不是很好用，尤其是用了第三方源的情况下。

    有些软件的版本怎么总是得不到更新呢，比如texlive,freemind... :-(

    wubi安装,第一次重启后就开始死循环了,ata1.00错误,唉,得解决啊.

    我的卡在显卡识别的那一处,就是进不去.nvidia 9600 GT,求解,谢谢! 还有,如果我安装中文系统,gcc的编译输出信息会不会也变成中文的?

    alsa声音问题？？声音先是“砰”一下才播放。。。编译了alsa 也没解决

    装了alternate发现启动界面不一样。我装了USPLASH，感觉比这个漂亮啊。一个白色的ubuntu logo，然后就到GDM了。

    wubi装了一下没问题，感觉速度是快一些。不过没有深入测试。听声看影儿都没什么问题。

    硬件支持比旧版本进步了，我的笔记本的声卡等全可驱动了。但问题是整个系统问题多多，比前面的版本慢了许多。 我计算机CPU温度一直稳定在70度左右，就象不堪重负一样。不知后面补丁来了以后是否有改善。

    干活的机器今天网络升级上去了，感觉还算顺利。碰到的2个问题是：1. cisco vpn client没法在2.6.31内核下正常工作，不过可以用vpnc替代 2.local.conf控制全局字体好像无效了，默认字体变成了正黑。

    界面很不错，但是声音有问题，用耳机有声音，外放没声音，不像9.04中的音量控制有外放的控制，只能带耳机了

    ubuntu-9.10-alternate-i386 虚拟机成功，外置光驱往hp mini 5101安装时识别不出光驱（装debian 5 成功）。

    ubuntu和fedora都已十分高效的形式发布新版本，其实从发展中可以看到一些趋势，linux的用户体验逐渐的追赶上了win，有些人还在说是win7能够再桌面领域彻底干掉linux，我看不见的，如果win保持这种发展势头，势必要被linux赶超……

    @caz: 确实是这个配置文件导致的问题，不能删掉soft link，否则全局字体都变了，英文变得很难看。我最后是直接强J了/etc/fonts/conf.avail/44-wqy-zenhei.conf，直接把WenQuanYi Zen Hei全部替换掉了。重启X后恢复原来的设置了。

    to stripsss: 我的声卡也是会砰一声，按下面修改就好了。

    打开/etc/modprobe.d/alsa-base.conf 命令：sudo gedit /etc/modprobe.d/alsa-base.conf 找到options snd-hda-intel power_save=10这一行 在前面加个#

    options snd-hda-intel power_save=10

    这样就行了，在我的电脑上是有效果了，再也没有那个奇怪的声音了。

    有没有搞错啊，Ubuntu 9.10 dsl上网问题什么时候解决啊，解决之前我还是用9.04吧╮(╯▽╰)╭
