Ubuntu 9.10 (Karmic Koala) Alpha 4 推出

Ubuntu 9.10 Alpha 4 现已推出。这是 Ubuntu 9.10（开发代号“Karmic Koala”）的第四个 Alpha 测试版本，自 Alpha 3 以来，该版本添加了如下新特性：

  • Linux kernel 2.6.31-rc5
  • 首次针对 Ubuntu Enterprise Cloud (UEC) 及 Amazon 的 EC2 提供 ISO 映像
  • 改进了 iSCSI 安装过程

    Ubuntu不行呀，，还是fedora让我用的爽，原先就一直用debian的，试着装过Ubuntu（居然安装失败？又一次安装成功，进入桌面后狂慢，和看漫画样，驱动装好的，，8.04，，然后换成debian，一切ok），印象太差，，，fedora 11的出现让我放弃了debian呀，我觉得就兼容32位程序上来说，fedora的做法简单但是效果好，debian那种ia-32-libs会出现一定的问题

    一般到A5A6时驱动才会比较成熟，还是再等一月再装。

    ubuntu 9.10alpha3-->alpha4 + ext4 root + Chrome 3.0.198.1

    working ! user interface has many bugs, but can work.

    But iBus or SCIM? Bad, I don't wan`t waste time on those. (iBus and SCIM on Fedora11 are perfect)

    @teebye: 关于arch……我已经听到太多郁闷的抱怨了……比如最新的gcc不能编译的东西一大堆啦……python升级过头了只好在AUR里自己弄一个啦……什么什么的……弄得我都不敢装arch了……用虚拟机玩玩……结果vbox不兼容6.31内核……然后glibc也得自己找个能用的版本……

    无论姓R还是姓D，都出自己于同一个内核，做同一样的事，就是让人们更自由的使用电脑

    @wecing: 是激进了点，但还好吧，用arch一年多了，都不想回到ubuntu了，还是很喜欢这个系统。

    喜欢Ubuntu是因为喜欢Debian,但Debian更适合做服务器，所以现在服务器用Debian,桌面用Ubuntu

    用Arch一年多了，遇到过许多不爽的地方，好几次想回到Ubuntu，但是每次回去一看就觉得无法忍受……还是Arch方便啊。不过对新人那是肯定推荐Ubuntu的。

    用什么发行版本和高手新手没有绝对关系。Ubuntu的流行度毋庸置疑，Arch始终只能是个小众的玩意儿，不过也正好能满足一小撮有“小众”心理的人。

    这么说吧，即使用RHEL做桌面，把官方文档读透了，有几个Archer敢说自己比他弓虽？

    ]arch谁用谁知道，我是从ubuntu过渡到arch上来的，ubuntu的兼容性没得说，ubuntu之所以流行是它的简单，ubuntu给想尝试linux的人，开启了一道门槛很低的门，但ubuntu的龟速和bug也是令人很头疼的事，9.04终端的上翻下翻删前面的字符，我不知道你们是怎么解决的，这太令人头疼
