Terminator 是一个用于将 GNOME 终端窗口分割成多个窗格的 Python 脚本。Terminator 默认会分割成四个小窗格，你可根据实际的需要，在水平方向或垂直方向上进行多次拆分。

Terminator 要求 python-vte，其最新版 0.4 可从这里下载。在解包后，可使用以下指令运行：

./terminator

    gdb+vim的时候有些用吧，用vim能浏览源码，gdb的list看源码不是太舒服。

    screen 就可以分割吧，而且还支持编码转换

    不是在 GNOME 终端里划分。 嗯，可能这描述有些让人误会，

    这不是在 gnome 终端， 而是自己独立的窗口。

    装拉python-vte,但运行还是出错哦 ./terminator Error, unable to find profile Default

    why?

    michael: you might get that if you don't have a gnome-terminal profile called "Default". If you grab the latest release (0.4), you can specify the profile name on the command line.

    呵呵，screen不大众化呐

    推荐使用terminator代替其它终端
