    amarok2已沦为垃圾播放器，还是amarok1最好，但在gnome上用这个播放器比较好

    这个东西功能的确强大，问题是启动速度比较慢……

    东西很强，可惜采用的是firefox的内核，继承了蜗牛般的启动速度，虽然也有个可有可无的插件系统。 如果采用webkit，启动速度就完美了。

    @wowtxp: webkit只是个WEB渲染内核而已，songbird是还用了firefox的UI平台，webkit是代替不了的。

    一年前就开始使用Songbird，功能越来越完善，性能也明显改善。

    @doraemon:

    它使用 gstreamer 作为播放引擎，而 gstreamer-ffmpeg 里面有 ape 回放支持，不知道它可以调用否。

    如果gentoo用户遇到下面这个错误

    songbird-bin /opt/songbird/songbird-bin: symbol lookup error: /usr/lib64/python2.6/site-packages/gst-0.10/gst/gst.so: undefined symbol: gstxmlgettype Could not initialize GStreamer: Error re-scanning registry , child terminated by signal

    将dev-python/gst-python降级为 <=dev-python/gst-python-0.10.13 即可

    amarok2没那么垃圾吧？标签的问题是utf8，自己转码下就好了。好像最新的amarok2svn已经内置了标签数据库转码的功能。 关键是amarok2和kde4整合的很好，plasma就有amarok的widget，非常好用

    audacious 2 很耗cpu。songbird 耗cpu还行，有点耗内存，不过那么漂亮的UI耗点内存也没什么啦。 就是我的从来没有用gstreamer播放过ape，更别提cue支持了。

    @Mond: gstreamer 支持 ape 回放已经有一段时间了，在 nautilus 下鼠标移至 ape 上亦可自动预览，但是 cue 的问题一直没有解决。

    基于 XUL 的程序现在已经很多了，但不知什么缘故 xul 一直gnome的周围徘徊，一直没有进入核心。 为什么不用xul替代glade表现界面，为什么不用xulrunner来代替垃圾的gtkhtml来渲染web组件。借助xulrunner完全可以将GNOME打造成一个桌面与web统一的桌面环境，这或许就是ms的梦想，但开源的项目，很多时候都是以自我为中心。 下一代gnome又考虑将webkit纳入其中，OpenSource 的东西或许就是这样的三心二意，最终没有一个像样的东西出来。

    @hantsy: 我就觉得不是一个坏事，因为XUL的性能不如webkit，作为开发者，当然要给用家最好的体验，这样换来换去也是无可厚非的。但是开发者真的要好好适应这种转换...呵呵！！

    其实播放器弄得再漂亮也很不使用。我们又不是看着播放器工作的。弄得华丽花哨的，都没有时间欣赏。 我反而最喜欢Windows下面的Foobar。

    貌似 xul 和 xulrunner 还是有区别的……

    个人觉得 xulrunner 性能不错啊，目前的 1.9.1 核心在各个评测中被证明十分优秀的。

    其实 rhythmbox 和 gnome-applet-music 的组合很不错的，或者 Firefox + FoxTunes 插件。

    不，一次手动下载安装，以后通过点songbird的'check update‘自动升级

    cue支持是一个比较重要的功能，不过，貌似cue文件的不规范是导致很多播放器不支持cue的主要原因

    @qii: 就是严格按照wiki上说的做的，不照。显示的tag不是gbk那种乱码，而是问号，一个问号表示一个中文字。把这些不能识别的tag转成gb2312或者gb18030又能识别了。所有歌曲全转成gb的tag呢，又会造成新的乱码。最后，整个歌曲库一部分是utf-8的tag，一部分是gb的tag，乱七八糟

    估计是amarok2新引入的标签数据库转码功能惹的祸，希望能像songbird一样，提供个选项允许用户关掉这个功能。按照开发者的blog（http://amarok.kde.org/blog/archives/1068-UTF-8-and-Your-Music.html）的说法，2.2会修正这个问题

    媒体库管理能力还不错，不过在我的 Ubuntu 9.04 上运行占用 CPU 比较多，大约20-30%。
