Recoll 是一个与 Beagle 类似的 Linux 桌面全文搜索引擎。与 Beagle 相比，Recoll 具有轻巧、快速、容易使用、配置灵活等特点，并且不需要 Mono。

Recoll 基于 Xapian 这个成熟的开源搜索引擎而构建，能够处理无格式文本、HTML 网页、OpenOffice.org 办公文档、Mozilla Thunderbird 及 Evolution 电子邮件信息、Lyx、Scribus 等文件格式。在助手程序的支持下，Recoll 可以支持更多的文件格式，如 PDF。

在 Recoll 网站上提供有针对流行的 Fedora、SUSE、Ubuntu、Debian 等 Linux 发行版所用的二进制包，你可以在自己的系统中轻易地安装它。

    网站怎么也打不开, 用代理下载不了deb包 http://www.sourceforge.org/projects/recoll 上只有源码下载~
