Qemu 0.10.0 发布

Qemu 团队已发布 0.10.0 版本。该版本历经一年多的开发，从 80 位开发者带来了几近 3000 个改动。Qemu 0.10.0 的改动实在太多，以下是其主要亮点。

  • TCG 支持，不再需要 GCC 3.x
  • KVM（Kernel Virtual Machine）加速支持
  • BSD userspace 模拟
  • 蓝牙模拟及跨主机支持
  • GDB XML register 描述支持
  • Intel e1000 模拟

  • VirtIO paravirtual 设备支持
  • Marvell 88w8618 / MusicPal 模拟
  • Nokia N-series tablet / OMAP2 处理器模拟
  • PCI 热插拔支持
  • 实时迁移及新的保存/还原格式
  • Curses 显示支持
  • qemu-nbd 支持挂载块格式
  • PPC 模拟支持 Altivec
  • 支持多个 VNC 客户端
  • VNC 支持 TLS 加密

    太好了！好多改进！终于不需要GCC 3.x也可以编译了，之前为了在Gentoo下用，还得emerge个GCC 3.X。

    @Yao: 以前速度不如 VBox，无论 kqemu 还是 kvm 加速。 现在不知道。

    据说这个和vbox的原理是不一样的。这个和bochs差不多，是用cpu模拟所有的硬件。vbox和vmware这些差不多，利用了显卡的硬件来模拟显卡。

    早幾個月在USB drive安裝Qemu，在上面跑Debian真的很方便，執行Qemu的執行檔就行，不用像VirtualBox/ VMware般每次都要安裝。

    有gtk和Qt4的GUI接口，还挺不错，主要是可以模拟ARM，像openmoko没实体机，就可以拿来模拟

    vbox没比过，用kvm的模拟肯定比vmware快，我试过super pi的1M计算了很多次，我的机上kvm48～50秒，而vmware则54～60秒。但在显卡的模拟上真差vmware很远很远。

    @damn: 假设某一天qemu模拟nvidia的gpu？配合模拟cpu，那显卡的模拟不就很牛了吗？看来潜力最大的还是这个啊

    qemu全靠cpu速度太吃力。只能说是测试底层的东西。应用层用qemu就是折腾了。

    @hyx108: 不， bochs 是仿真， 而 qemu、vbox 都是模拟。

    我用mingw32编的0.10.1貌似有问题，用LiveCD总是会挂掉，貌似在硬件检查没完的时候，什么VIA padbad。。。。
