Paint Mono — Paint.NET for Linux

可能很多使用 Windows 的朋友都知道这款名为 Paint.NET 的图像编辑软件。目前，针对该软件的 Linux 平台移植已经出现──Paint Mono。从名称上即可看出，Paint Mono 是采用 Mono 将 Paint.NET 移植到 Linux 系统上的。

虽然这是一起由开源社区成员完成的非官方移植行为，但在 Paint Mono 中已经实现了 Paint.NET 的大多数特性。如果你想要在自己的 Linux 系统中尝试 Paint Mono，那么你将需要 Mono 1.2.6 和一个 SVN 客户端。然后，执行下列步骤： $ svn co http://paint-mono.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/src paint-mono $ cd paint-mono $ ./configure $ make $ make install

    其实mono蛮不错的。bashee比rhythmbox稳定多了。后者有时候会崩溃。

    不知M$怎么想的，Mono 是灭 java 的法宝，应该全力支持才对。

    其实M$只想让.NET在服务器端大力发展，如果桌面程序大部分都弄成托管的，那就太好移植了，M$的优势就不存在了

    To yuk: "如果桌面程序大部分都弄成托管的，那就太好移植了，M$的优势就不存在了",这句话我是‘严重’同意啊，很早以前我就这么想，如果windows上的所有程序都跑在.NET上，而linux实现了.NET虚拟机，想想会怎么样啊，呵呵。.NET虚拟机比Native环境应该好移植的多吧。

    怎么可能有什么仰人鼻息的说法呢？ 应用软件通用了，对于任何操作系统乃至开发人员都是天大的好事。。。

    to proguru: 桌面软件目前大致分两类： 1. 消费类软件，比如什么 office啦之类 2. 企业应用的（智能）客户端软件 其中第一类是不可能用托管的，因为托管的性能还是不够高 第二类可以说 .Net WinForm 绝对处于优势地位，java 应用一般是 B/S 的

    听说 Paint.Net 是微软组织的一个大学团队弄出来的。要是放在Linux 里，不知道会不会让微软的这些人气疯？
