开放源码的办公套件 OpenOffice.org 在今天提供了最新稳定版本 2.4.0 的下载。虽然 OpenOffice.org 官方尚未发布此版本的公告，但我们通过浏览 OpenOffice.org Wiki 依然可以发现一些有价值的信息，包括 OpenOffice.org 2.4.0 对既有的 Writer、Calc、Impress、Base 等组件做了进一步的增强，并修正了程序中存在的大量缺陷。

概括地说，OpenOffice.org 2.4.0 为其用户主要带来了下列改进：

  • Writer：改进了插入及插入对象工具栏，允许为段落样式指定快捷键，支持打印隐含文本。
  • Calc：对打印对话框进行了增强。
  • Impress：添加了一些新的幻灯片过渡效果。
  • Base：为 M$ Access 2007 文件 (*.accdb) 提供了支持。
  • 扩展管理器支持联机更新。

OpenOffice.org 2.4.0 可从这里下载，其 Linux 安装包为 147 MB 和 166 MB (含 JRE)。

    你们谁用过了Impress里面的3D效果。我的Arch64已经升级了OpenOffice 2.4，但是怎么没见到什么新的效果呀？
