NVIDIA 270.41.03 Driver

NVIDIA 释出了 270.41.03 预览版本驱动，为众多新设备提供了支持。

本次预览版本带来了如下新设备支持：GeForce GT 520, GeForce GT 525M, GeForce GT 520M, GeForce GT 445M, GeForce GT 530, GeForce 405, GeForce GTX 590, GeForce GTX 550 Ti, GeForce GT 420, GeForce GT 440, GeForce GTX 470M, GeForce GTX 485M, GeForce GT 550M, GeForce GT 555M, NVS 4200M, Quadro 1000M 和 Quadro 2000M

同时修复了在 32 位系统上运行 49.7 天时 X.org 服务崩溃的 Bug。

有趣的是，在上述新设备中， GeForce GT 520 和 NVIDIA NVS 4200 被归类为 VDPAU 中的 D 类设备，具体什么含义尚不明朗。

另外，小道消息透露NVIDIA 计划在 VDPAU 中增加 VP8/WebM 硬件解码的支持。

    nvidia的显卡在linux下面表现相当不错，不过有点问题就是，我开了compiz后，拖动窗口的时候，有残影撕裂的感觉。而工作的电脑的intel显卡没有这个问题，拖动窗口的时候感觉很流畅。但是，3d效果，nvidia的比intel的好很多，刷新速度问题？驱动问题？

    @fanhe: 玩游戏的都知道要开启 "sync to vblank"，玩 linux 桌面的貌似都不知道。

    对的。Nvidia显卡的缺点就是消耗很大，Linux下。而且占用处理不好，实际上用nvidia显卡开混合渲染都有占用过高的问题。

    玩游戏ATI开了那些Opengl的效果可能强过不开，nvidia的开那些东西速度大减——即使不是帧数显示。实际感觉就不对。

    linux桌面的重绘也有问题，例如开了taglist的gvim的气泡提示，经常出现残留图像，不知道这归窗口管理管还是gtk还是x11管。开了compiz才没这个问题。

    这驱动已经支持4XXM系列了，那能支持5XXM系列么？ 哪位大牛跟我说说？ 原来win下没有5XXM的驱动的时候，我用的就是4XXM的驱动，没有问题，不知道在linux会怎么样

    fedora的是在用默认驱动，nvidia的驱动老是安装不成功。

    开启3D桌面,难道不会和vdpau冲突? 比如compizi和kdewin的特效?时,用vdpau播放1080p电影,全屏就会失去响应.

    奇怪，我的ubuntu10.10安装270版本之后，玻璃特效、登录音乐、桌面背景和快捷键都正常，可是任务栏只有底板，程序图标出不来，自定义的启动程序也出不来，除了鼠标能动而外，什么都干不了，只能切换到tty终端，卸载270，重新安装260版本的驱动，难道270驱动只能适应ubuntu11.04么？
