基于 Ubuntu 10.10 的 Linux Mint 10 发布，带来全新的欢迎屏幕和软件包管理工具。

除了 Ubuntu 10.10 的带来的软件升级外，Linux Mint 10 增添了如下新功能：

  • 欢迎屏幕：一站式文档、支持及社区资源访问，同时提供安装额外解码包和升级至 DVD 版本选项。
  • 革新的菜单：高亮新近安装程序、内嵌软件仓库访问、GTK书签、主题配色调控、搜索引擎整合。
  • 软件包管理：全新的软件包管理界面，支持创建软件包升级忽略名单。
  • 上传管理器：方便开发者和系统管理员在一键式自动上传文件到远程服务器。
  • 新外观：新桌面背景，新的金属拉丝风格界面以及改进的 Mint-X 主题。

    哇，第一次是第一个回复哦。不知道和ubuntu 10.10的差别大不。另外，不曾用过 mint，不晓得能不能平滑地升级像Arch那种。倒有点想试试这主题啦

    不能平滑升级，和ubuntu一样要做发行版升级的。 不过有linux mint debian版本，这个可以滚动升级

    如果对mint有爱的话，可以考虑国产deepin 10.12版，或国外pinguy10.10版，均基于mint定制，增加更多eye candy 本人使用pinguy中，很不错了，下载好中文包，改了conky字体，基本上就完全可用了，vlc和gnome mplayer放mkv都可以看中文字幕，以前要手工改的 linux还是在进步D

    B以前的mint 8我倒是用了很久，CD包里还有一张他的安装CD，但是升级到mint 9的过程让我心痛，漫长的等待之后，安装失败了。 目前用ubuntu LTS

    没有beagle可用(beagle没人维护了) sun java的jre和jdk版本不同

    beagle 依赖Mono吧？？？GNOME的开发人员更青睐 Tracker。。。。

    Linux Mint不错，我下载的就是debian版，至于字体，安装就是了！
