Fedora 8 Test 3 (7.92) 发布

Fedora 的开发团队在今天放出了 Fedora 8 的第三个测试版，其内部版本号为 7.92。此版本可用于 i386、x86_64、ppc 架构，包含 Live CD 和 DVD 安装映像。根据 Fedora 8 的发布计划安排，其最终正式版定于今年的 11 月 8 日推出。

Fedora 8 Test 3 的主要改进如下：

  • Linux 内核 2.6.23
  • GNOME 2.20 RC
  • KDE 3.5.7/KDE 4 Beta
  • 在线桌面（主要为了方便使用各种在线服务）
  • 默认安装 Iced Tea
  • Eclipse 3.3
  • NetworkManager 0.7
  • CodecBuddy（用于播放各种多媒体格式）

    强烈建议放弃Fedora，安装狂慢，我从早上7点多开始安装到下午3点多，还没有安装完！而且，默认安装语言没有中文！妈的！

    blowfish用的是286的机器？呵呵。

    （1）用DVD的iso安装f7，一般30分钟左右就能完成安装。如果通过livecd的方式安装，速度还要快一些。

    （2）其实比较起来，fedora 7的中文可能算是国外的发行版中比较不错的，默认的中文界面已经很不错了。

    （3）另外，fedora 社区最近发布了重新打包的fedora 7 iso，其中的软件包更新到了截至2007年的9月12日的所有更新。 推荐下载这个新的iso,使用jigdo下载，地址是： http://spins.fedoraunity.org/unity/fedora-unity-7-20070912.jigdo/view

    最好不要因为自己的原因，却赖发新版啊...

    blowfish的情况应该属于个别情况吧。我下午刚装fedora，貌似还不到一个半小时，不过和ubuntu比确实是漫长了点。

    blowfish：我一直都再用redhat系的产品，ubuntu我也试过，好像对我的电脑过敏，怎么都装不上，但是我也没有骂ubuntu阿。blowfish你个人人品不行，不要怪发行版。
