Fedora 10:燃烧吧！

好吧，我承认受够了国际日期变更线……Fedora 10 终于发布了！

以下是 Fedora 10 的主要特性：

  • 无线连接共享启用 ad hoc 网络共享
  • 更好的设置并通过改进的管理工具使用打印机
  • 现在简化了本地和远程连接的虚拟化存储供应
  • SecTool 是一个新的安全性审核及入侵侦测系统
  • RPM 4.6 是强大、灵活的软件管理程序库的主要更新

这个发行本中包括的其它特性：

  • 通过重新编写 PulseAudio 声音服务器，让其使用基于时间的音频调度实现无故障音频以及更好的性能
  • 提高的摄像头支持
  • 更好支持红外远程控制使其方便与很多应用程序连接
  • 已为普通用户将 /usr/local/sbin:/usr/sbin:/sbin 添加到 PATH 以便简化命令行管理任务
  • 在线帐户服务为位于 http://online.gnome.org 或者保存在 GConf 中的帐户提供带证书的应用程序

    嗯 我半个月前刚因为从fedora 9 升级到fedora 10 Alpha出了严重问题而放弃fedora转到了ubuntu

    当年从Fedora转移到Ubuntu的时候，很是痛恨Fedora，他让我总是在Linux里面遇到莫名其妙的问题。
    现在从Ubuntu转移到Arch了。
    回头再看Fedora，发现原来Fedora比Ubuntu先进这么多~~，原来是先进太多了，所以才遇到各种奇怪的问题。

    昨天等了一天了，隔半个小时看一次官网！可惜等到我睡着了也没等到，今天一早起来下，呵呵，还有一个多小时就好了，期待着，之前用过Ubuntu，毕竟不是一个档次的啊！4楼的哥们，早点回来吧！

    哈哈, 我也很喜欢fedora
    只可惜我的机子上已经有了Archlinux, Gentoo, Blfs
    于我而言, 目前Linux只是很棒的玩具…

    DVD 包括了绝大多数常用的软件。如果要全部软件包的话，要等一段时间之后的 Everything Spin。

    从BETA 就开始用了，但比较失望，主要是细节问题，体贴问题，比如在UBUNTU 我的笔记本的快捷键不用设置就可以用了，在FEDORA 设置都没用。

    还有就是源速度问题，在UBUNTU 满速惯了，在FEDORA 下加速了还只有才20K/S ，简直蜗牛。YUM 也很慢，每次安装东西都要更新一次列表~漫长的等待~，难怪都说APT-GET 牛！

    刚把ubuntu8.04换成hiweed2.0 rc3，确实想装一个fedora10。不过还是等等。根据fedora7,8的经验，往往在推出时还会有不少虫虫，不久会有很多升级包。就不做小白鼠了。

    经不起诱惑，而且发现fedora的源比以前快些，在桌面上装了个F10，重新开始当小白鼠。希望有了Fusion以后，fedora平台上的包包更多些。

    但是，产生生产力的笔记本还先用Ubutnu804。

    Linux 这么多版本，让死守党们不得不忍受很多的诱惑，希望不会严重到转回Win。支持用Debian,真的，我已经很习惯它了。

    debian->ubuntu->debian->gentoo
    试过fedora9, 因为源没有mplayer就立刻放弃了

    不坚守任何版本，但最崇敬 Redhat 和 Debian，ubuntu 目前用起来最舒服

    OpenSuse也不见得稳定,我是说它的最新版11.0,一般都是.0 .1 .2过渡,到.3就稳定了,你可以查查novell yes certified数据库,里面有 suse linux enterprise desktop 认证的硬件,一般里面认证没有问题的硬件,跑opensuse 10.3没问题,11.0就不好说了,不过一旦所有功能都支持,那用起来真是很爽,包括ACPI,suspend/resume等等功能.

    有个 yum 插件叫做 yum-fastestmirror ……
    这段时间链接日本的镜像国内的速度大概 200K。奥运期间能链接台湾的，1M左右。
    国外一直都很快，400K+。

    有意思，我推荐周围用本本的朋友用 Fedora 是因为对笔记本快捷键和内置读卡器支持比 Ubuntu 好。几个华硕、宏基、Gateway的本本装完 Fedora 都是无须配置快捷键就能使用。

    最近在用 PuppyLinux 和 DSL, 安装超方便, 开始就有 MP3 和 AVI, MPG, WMV 等等的解码可以听歌看电影, 很是方便 :)

    我是由FC4转到Ubuntu至今，现在对折腾已经失去了兴趣。
