在各位 Debian GNU/Linux 粉丝望眼欲穿 4.0 的时候，Debian 项目团队再次对 3.1 稳定版进行了更新修订。据悉，本次更新仍然是解决安全方面以及其他各种较为严重的问题。

另外，值得注意的是，为了准备 Debian GNU/Linux 4.0（开发代号为“Etch”）的发布，Debian GNU/Linux 3.1 将被移到存档中的“oldstable”。
