Archlinux 2009.02 发布

今天，Archlinux 项目团队发布了版本号为 2009.02 的新 Archlinux 安装映像。Archlinux 2009.02 使用 Linux Kernel 2.6.28，加入了 Ext4 文件系统支持，Fallback ISO 采用 ISOLINUX 引导程序，包含 AIF（Archlinux Installation Framework）。另外，该版本也更新了安装文档，并修正了 installer 中的缺陷。

Archlinux 2009.02 提供有 core 及 ftp ISO 映像，支持 i686 和 x86_64 平台，可从以下地址下载。

    对于一个熟练的Linux用户来说，ArchLinux是没有使用障碍的，安装也很简单。

    是不是比其他发行版快，各有各的说法。 我现在装有Ubuntu与Arch，在启动速度上，Arch是很快的。 但是在其他软件的使用上（启动速度、响应速度）感觉不到两个发行版之间有差异。

    Arch，我用过这个，默认没有图形界面，我也不会配置网络连接，我这个网卡在Ubuntu下能自动识别并随时都连接着的，在Arch下死活上不了网。。

    不过我是菜鸟，我还是觉得大便好，哈哈：）

    arch装了2次，都更新崩溃。。。稳定性有待改善。

    大便一直用sid源

    arch启动快是因为一堆服务没启动……toy兄励志把这里搞成arch中文论坛打败“官方论坛”？

    我很不幸的把arch搭成了和ubuntu一模一样以后决定干脆换回ubuntu，估计还是受了ubuntu一些影响。o(╯□╰)o

    ubuntu易用性不错,arch搭积木更好玩,只是经常搭成和ubuntu一样的,谁让我第一次用linux就是Ubuntu...

    arch如果是有block机制和保留旧包的话，那会是更加受欢迎。

    但是加了以后...跟debian netinstall又有什么分别呢？

    ubuntu半年一个发行版，系统更新的时候不平滑，每次更新基本都意味着重装，头大啊。 而且arch的软件更新速度很快，想用最新的软件，又嫌编译时间太长，就来arch吧

    受Toy的影响，使用Arch一年多了，的确很不错。就是找不到一个像Ubuntu下cn99那么快的mirror。 ArchWiki也很不错，:)

    搭车问个 Arch 的问题，我从 pacman 装了 adobe-air，为什么安装任何 air 软件都显示： The application could not be installed because the AIR file is damaged. Try obtaining a new AIR file from the application author.

    但我直接执行 adobe-air xx.air 却没有问题。

    archlinux 唯一的问题就是北京网通的速度 下个xfce4 都需要1个多小时

    昨日下载ftp的img，用dd装到u盘，无法引导安装，最后用2008.6的img成了。用了163的源在单位能达几M/s同步较慢较旧，后来lupaworld的源能保持在200k/s以上。澳洲的源2年前可以达到几百k/s，现在不行了，以前台湾的源也可达几百k/s。

    刚出的2009.02， 我现在的版本是2008.06， 请问我能从2008.06升级成2009.02吗？

    @kevin: Ubuntu的版本升级已经很平滑了，你试过从hardy到intrepid了没？这就是rolling update了。

    早期的版本确实做的不好，在6.06 LTS升级到7.04后系统出了很多问题，X也无法启动，挂掉了...懒得折腾直接重新装了一下...

    Arch升级太频繁，不敢用。这里每个月宽带有quotaT_T

    我用Arch，真是不敢更新啊。上次更新了一下Nvidia驱动结果以前给本子写的X配置都没了(我平时用双显示器)

    还有上次不知道要给我升Python2.6我就点了，结果Python-Pinyin不能用了

    我这儿可以用ipv6，几个v6的镜像速度都不错，可以达到1MB。 前两天装了kdemod4，感觉比openSUSE的kde还要好。 还有，shaman也挺好用的。和几个月前我试用的时候相比，功能要增加了许多，也稳定了许多。几乎可以和synaptic媲美了…… over
