Arch Linux 是以简单、轻量和灵活为显著特点的 Linux 发行版。今天，Arch Linux 项目团队发布了 Arch Linux 2007.08.2。这是使用新仓库布局后的首次发布，包括两个 ISO 映像文件：FTP ISO 和 CORE ISO。

本次发布的 Arch Linux 2007.08.2 主要更改有：

  • 采用 Linux 内核 2.6.22.9
  • 默认禁用了 arch_addons 钩子，现在通过 arch-addons 引导参数触发
  • 加大了内存使用

此外，该版本也新增了一些项目，并修正了若干问题。

    因为源改了，所以用这个版本安装会比较方便一点吧

    在改进中，加大了内存使用是什么意思啊！

    这一项居然是改进！!!!是使用效率吧！

    • RAM usage has increased, these are the new recommendations:
    • 256 MB (FTP-ISO,CORE-ISO arch boot image)
    • 96 MB (CORE-ISO lowmem boot image)

    看明白了，把64M抛弃了
