Arch Linux 2007.08.1 已经发布。这是一个维护更新版本，主要更新了 Linux 内核，并修正了一些问题。目前，适用于 i686 和 x86_64 的安装 ISO 映像文件已可从 Arch Linux 官方网站或其镜像站点下载得到。

本版本的 Arch Linux 主要更新包括：

  • Linux 内核更新到了 2.6.22.6 版
  • 修正了 NTFS 分区的引导问题
  • 将 nfsd 和 top 添加到了安装环境中
  • 修正了安装环境中的依赖、disablehooks= boot 参数、以及在 arch_addons 时禁用内核的 NTFS 驱动等问题

    针对ntfs的bug修补很重要。轻巧快速，最喜欢的发行版！

    个人觉得archlinux的用户群比较固定。用上手后会觉得ubuntu是鸡肋

    install openssh on archlinux...

    经朋友推荐,决定尝试下 archlinux 系统安装参考 archlinux wiki 中的 Beginners Guide 网络配置参考 Configuring network 主要配置 /etc/rc.conf 和 /etc/resolv.conf 两个文件, 不多言 配置好后

    pacman -Syu #更新系统

    虽然我用archlinux，但kubuntu也是非常好的选择。

    Arch的优势在于干净、快速。ubuntu设置方便，包丰富。

    各有所长吧。

    有什么好不屑的，各有各的爱好，arch我机器上也有，用得很少，ubuntu配置得好好的，我还弄那东西干嘛？发行版能有多少区别，狭隘。

    是啊，干嘛要不屑呢？每个人用什么系统都是有各自的原因的，就像有些人爱看电视片但是不喜欢去自己装配或维修一台电视机。有时候，希望有一个容易搞定的平台能用，然后好集中精力在上面做其他一些工作，这并不弱智啊。
