Zenwalk 是一个轻量级的 Linux 发行版，它采用 Xfce 作为默认的桌面环境。今天，Zenwalk 发布了 4.8 的 RC 版本。自上次 Beta 版推出之后，其中的软件不仅得到了更新，而且对某些组件也有所改进。例如，Linux 内核更新为 2.6.22.7、Pidgin 更新到了 2.2.0、改善了 SLIM 桌面管理器等。

    我用slim的登录管理器.不过实在是配置不好.

    下个这个虚拟机里面试试看..主要看看slim..

    在vmware里装过一次，进桌面以后跑free看了下，比xubuntu也少不了多少点。

    用过一段时间，基于slackware稳定速度不输于arch，netpkg可以在线升级，在老机器上使用很不错。
