使用 JavaScript 编写的 PDF 解析器发布 0.2 版本，实现Type 1 字体加载。

同时还实现了：

  • 浓淡图像。
  • 混合字型。
  • 左侧预览视图。
  • 连续页滚动显示。

目前该功能在 Firefox Nightly 效果完美，其他浏览器亦可运行，但兼容性方面尚需改进。

    牛x。一直搞不懂并且很怕pdf这个东西，客户一提能不能输出pdf就头疼，更倾向于能用xml表达的东东。呵呵，谁知道怎么用pdf做gb的公文模版并且套打手写签名吗？

    pdf有那么可怕吗？常年写latex生成pdf得路过。只是觉得麻烦些， 但好看啊

    pdf美观，但是再创作能力低，不像xml这种开放的表达方式。

    改天也学学JS。Python虽然好，不过Windows下没多少人自己装解释器。JS就不担心这个了。

    对于经常上网查文献的孩子来说，的确是个吸引人的东西。不过更希望看到渲染以及字体上的进步，界面有多好看其实真的不在意。+u

    @kidli: 输出PDF正常不过了，很多项目都用。修改PDF的也有，以前遇到一个项目，提供了PDF模板，需要填充一些数据（PDF Form读取替换一下），加上条形码，输出最终PDF。这些都用ITEXT是很方便完成的。

    一般项目如果有输出要求，都会要求输出Excel，PDF（更趋向一些复杂的页面结构，不仅仅是表格）

    @hantsy: 如果只是修改表格、死的form、简单的图形如条形码、加点水印都还好说，可对一些更灵活的需求比如意见来说就不好办了，如果是在word里，内容一多可以自动分页，itext里就没法控制，因为模版里的表格和新插入的意见都在不同的层上（也许有办法，我研究不深）。所以我们一般都输出excel、word、wps之类能用xml描述的格式，制作模版和二次开发都很简单，pdf能不碰就不碰，就算要碰，也倾向于弄台服务器装个office/wps来转换；）

    chrome 的pdf阅读器如果能显示书签和记忆上次阅读位置就完美了!
