从 Nicky 那里获悉 KDE 4.0 的第一个 Beta 测试版（内部版本号为 3.92）已经发布，虽然 KDE 官方目前尚未公布，但已经可以从 FTP 上下载该版本的源码包。我抓了一些屏幕截图，希望对大家直观地感受 KDE 4.0 Beta 1 有些帮助。当前，虽然 KDE 4 的外观和新特性都比较具有吸引力，但在可用性和稳定性方面尚需继续努力。

    @Nicky：目前 KDE 4 的稳定性仍显不足，我在使用时老出问题。

    估计正式发布的时候可用性也会出问题. 我倒希望能够多delay一段时间, 不需要有多少新的特性, 起码稳定下来才发布.

    确实漂亮了不少
    不过对硬件的要求肯定更高了
    还是老实地玩 Fluxbox 吧 :)

    上面帖出来的东东，只有amarok值得期待
    dolphin在KDE3.X中试过，非常不好用，不知在4。0中如何了。我倒更期望konqueror作为文件管理器更加好用了

    就是，现在的操作系统越来越花哨，但是使用功能提高速度要慢的多

    kde 4 正式发布会比 7.10 ubuntu 晚一点点。不过年底肯定可以用上了。

    @Toy:我以前也能看到，现在只有文字了，直接点击的话只停在进度栏就不动了，必须右键选Open in New Tab

    我用的Swiftfox + Ubuntu Feisty

    可能要等到第一个维护版才比较稳定。大举迁移到新平台第一版bug多应该是不可避免。

    听说KDE4带有Beryl的部分功能，不用再装Beryl了，这个版本实现了没有？如果已经实现了，我就升级！
