GNOME 3安装配置与使用

Fedora 15 Alpha 和 Archlinux 都能用GNOME3了，如果在安装使用时遇到了一些问题或者不习惯的地方，不妨参考此 Wiki 。感谢 Chen xing 来稿。

    昨天更新Fedora之后，基本上可以正常使用了。之前有个bug，导致gdm登录不能。

    说实话，我对GNOME现在是没什么感觉了，GMD丑到要死，还不能主题化，老的GDM可以的，新的反不行了。 这个Shell不知道怎么样，有空的时候要么试一下，或者先下个Live来看一看。

    arch的gnome2一直很稳定，可惜发展太慢，几年没有实质变动，都是修修补补。

    用了一段时间，现在逐渐习惯了没有最小、最大化的标题栏，用Alt+Tab切换窗口，而不是在任务栏里选

    @Alpha.Gu: 现在的gdm一样可以选主题啊

    @acid204: 做开发的话经常要同时查看几个窗口，这全最大化了切换好麻烦，用平铺的又太浪费地方了，还是目前这种传统的适合我。只能用alt-tab？那我一手吃东西一手拿鼠标咋办？

    @acid204: 我觉得这个应该学kde，交给用户处理，用户想要保留最大最小化就保留，要把它们放左边就放左边。而不是现在这样，彻底取消。

    @Daniel King: 鼠标移到左上试试，KDE默认也有这个设置

    KDE的plasma-netbook虽然默认也没有最小化，不过我还是没习惯没有最小化的窗口……我已经忍不住想要把最小化按钮加回来了。如果非要我在一堆窗口的堆栈里面把某个窗口放下去，为啥不给个最小化让我暂时把他藏起来……

    @csslayer: 如果你非要在一堆窗口的堆栈里把某个窗口放下去，那么就用鼠标右键菜单或者 alt + f9 来最小化好了

    gnome3中文用户无法登录的话，只要把/usr/share/gnome-shell/js/ui/dateMenu.js的第209行中的那个逗号删掉就行了～不必删去第210行全部～

    @csslayer: 其实最小化确实没必要，因为新窗口切换就可以把把其遮住了，看不见了就可以相当于最小化，但最大化按钮还是要的，尤其是触摸屏，拉大窗口的操作目前还不是很方便。

    @黑传说: 这两个按扭如果一定要用的话，可以在gconf-editor里改回来的。就像ubuntu默认把那三个按扭放到左边，你愿意的话一样可以改回右边的

    @黑传说: 你没考虑广大淫民的现实需求啊，试想正在玩游戏的时候，老板突然出现，而又不舍得退出，这时候还是需要最小化的。

    @simon: 那应该换桌面更快吧。每次老板来的时候，我都手忙脚乱找不到最小化按钮。

    @acid204: 目前还没有那个选项，而且在 gnome 3 里，不再是 gconf-editor，而是 dconf-editor。

    @garfileo: 不好意思，gconf-editor是对于jhbuild编译的来说的

    原文： When Gnome 3.0 will be released, you should be able to add back the minimize and maximize buttons from the "GNOME Plumbing" panel in the Control Center or using "gsettings" (command line tool).

    @bsfmig： 晕倒，试了一下Fedora alpha，一开始还可以登入gnome-shell，更新了一些后就出现无法登入的情况了，只见桌面不见其他，语言环境还是en.us_UTF8的。。。

    估计一两年内，Gnome3还无法取代老式的Gnome2.。。稳定性，易用性，需要长时间有大量的用户使用才可以做到。

    不知道Ubuntu的Unity怎么样了，特别喜欢改造的Nautilus Elementary，可惜停止了开发，自立山头，新的文件浏览器应该只会出现在Unity中了。

    archlinux 安装好后，启动，界面有，菜单有，反映巨慢。 gvc warning: connection failed reconnect 一堆连接不上，重新连接。

    @simon: 程序切换（用其他程序遮住）和虚拟桌面切换，甚至活动桌面切换，都可以实现老板键功效啊，呵呵

    @kidfruit: 降级的话注释掉gnome-unstable，然后pacman -Suu就还原了。

    在Archlinux下折腾了半天,终于搞定,但是好多东西无方法使用啊,ibus输入法也是,自己去改动的话不知道要搞多久呢,很多软件都要重码才能在gnome3上更好的运行,这从此真的是打动手术
