Firefox 5.0 beta

Firefox 5.0 于 5 月 20 日进入了 beta 频道。Firefox 5.0 beta 带来以下新特性：

  • 用户可以在“关于”对话框中切换频道。目前提供 Release, Beta 和 Aurora 三个频道。
  • 支持 CSS 动画。
  • 改善 canvas、Javascript、内存和网络性能。
  • 改善对 HTML5, XHR, MathML, SMIL 和 canvas的支持。
  • Do-Not-Track 报文头的选项被移到了“隐私(Privacy)”选项卡以更容易发现。
  • 改善和 Linux 桌面的集成性。
另外，计划今年发布的 Firefox 5 ~ 7 会尽量保持 add-on 的向下兼容性。

    @muxueqz: 有时候动画是浪费性能，不过感官上反而觉得性能提升(流畅?)了...

    ubuntu 10.04, gnome2下, firefox 4 最大化, 然后把鼠标放到右上角那个标签分组的按钮, 按鼠标右键... 这个bug这么久都还没修复啊.

    （我最想要的标签页移动的动画还没有出现……）,其他的都抄了chrome, 我也郁闷为什么就缺这个, 这个动画让人拖标签也拖得愉快啊.

    上次在哪里看到GTK要支持左上角或者状态栏里的按钮，说不定Linux/GTK的UI会比Windows还美观！

    @fanhe: 左上角那个按键是抄 Opera 的吧？我最喜欢的标签页分组是原创的 ;-)

    另外，那个拖动动画加上的话最好也是可选的，浪费 CPU 不说，还浪费时间。

    meego 1.2 出来了，有上网本，平板，手机，三个版本！ 大家可以去youku看N9的宣传片，用的就是Meego http://v.youku.com/vshow/idXMjY4MTI1MjEy.html 有的宣传片已经被删除。。。

    @xiaoniao: 构建生态环境是关键. 如果meego不能兼容Android的应用前景不容乐观.

    哎，用了浏览器这么久，没有发现什么资的变化啊。。现在IE6，还是用的好好的，firefox也是用3系列
