Firefox 4 Release Candidate

Mozilla 基金会释出 Firefox 4 候选发布版本，宣布正式版本即将到来。

本次 RC 版本相对于 Firefox 4 Beta 1，共计修复了 8000 余个 Bug。

    各位用firefox是，它占用多少内存？

    我用top查看。一开始，VIRT 518M，RES 178M。用了一段时间，此时只有一个tab页，VIRT 923m，RES 298m。正常么？是不是太夸张了？

    8个插件，十多个标签页开了一上午了，才416m 150m，3.6.15。

    呵呵，可以去了解下 Linux 下的内存管理方式，在还有空间的情况下，不会立即清空不用内存页的。

    占用内存也就100多点而已，系统缓存的不计。貌似firefox的页面滚动比chrome的流畅，nvidia显卡上的感觉。

    跟IE9比一比吧。。呵呵。我用了一下FF4的beta,感觉很差，速度没什么变化，无用的功能倒是多了不少。但愿IE9比它更差。。哈哈

    貌似我的Firefox linux beta12 有时会出现无响应的情况...

    @龙龙FRED:我的firefox beta12在win7下偶尔会出现无响应的情况，最近还经常出现cpu占用过多的情况。现在改用chrome了，感觉不错，几个喜欢用的扩展都有替代，以前在linux下必用的downthemall现在有pyAxelws可以替代，而且效果不错。估计以后应该可以一直用chromium在linux下了。
