Fedora 18 延期至年底

搭载众多新特性的 Fedora 18 经过四次延期，正式发布时间已经推迟至 12 月 11 日。

根据 FedoraProject 官方 G+ 的消息， Fedora 18 Beta 版本的发布日期已经改至 11 月 6 日，而正式发布版本的日期定在 12 月 11 日， 于此同时对应的 Wiki 发布计划页面也作出相应变更。

从特性列表上来看，绝大多数预期目标已经达成，尚未完成的部分主要集中在新的安装程序、64 位 PowerPC 的 LLVM 支持以及少量云计算相关组件的升级上。

尽管 Fedora Project 仍在宣称自己是 Time Based Release，不过近年来多次因为功能或者 Bug 而延期发布的情况太频繁了，相比之下 GNOME 3.6 简直太守时了……

    llvm一开始就是C++吧……………… 以后编译gcc又要多花不少时间了，C++编译很慢的说，自举也麻烦

    才beta就延迟到12月中旬发布，后面如果再遇到什么麻烦，岂不是就过年了。

    @黑日白月: 呵，我的语法简化过头了。本意是还在开发β版本，就把整个计划完成到12月中。毕竟，如果把β推到12月，那无论如何也要明年了。
