开放源码的 3D 建模程序 Blender 于近日推出了 2.44 版。此版本不仅针对之前的 Bug 进行了修正，而且开发者也添加了好些新的特性。若你目前仍在使用旧版本，可考虑将之升级。

在 Blender 2.44 中新添的特性包括：

- new modifiers
- a couple of composite nodes were added
- a revamp of the old mesh primitives
- subsurface scattering (SSS) support

另外，Blender 2.44 现在也能够完全兼容于 64 位的系统。
